In the end it felt like Trump was speaking for a nation with an inferiority complex - which is kind of silly really.

I thought Trump was going to be pulling troops out of wars?

I wish his father had've pulled out.

There's nothing that boosts a politician's sense of their own power and potency like a war.

Folks,

It also actually boosts their power. If Trump is looking weak in the numbers at re-election time, we know what he will do (if we get that far).

Trump vs Profesional Sports

Post by Tyrannical » Sun Sep 24, 2017 8:42 pm

Trump has a new target, football players who kneel / protest during the national anthem.

Few things in this country more unpopular than being unpatriotic. Few things in this country more popular than professional sports. Should be lots of fun drama. Real fun starts if ratings take a significant dive.

Don't be so sure.......
The progressive more radical left is warring with the more moderate left.

Whereas the moderate right is on its knees with its mouth open in front of the alt-right.

I blame both sides.

I came to the conclusion today that we are at the beginning of the end of our social systems. I think the collapse has begun and we are in the early stages of a slow(ish) revolution. I'm not sure which way the revolution will end up (i.e. right vs left), but when you consider Brexit and Trump, and all the other ancillary anti-establishment events around the world, I think it's apparent that the breakdown of society has started.
