Men's Rights Activist. An anti-feminism movement that's metastasized into an anti-woman movement. Probably a lot of overlap with Trump voters. Basically a bunch of Forty Twos.

Meh, I don't think Forty Two is an MRA, despite his obsessive fascination with (and clear dislike of) feminism and other social justice movements. Instead, in my opinion his sensibilities are firmly grounded in an earlier era when such movements were mostly dismissed--I think he points to their excesses as a way of justifying continued dismissal.

On the other hand there is a definite intertwining of the MRAs and the alt-right.

Futrelle said he’s noticed sites like the Daily Stormer publishing explicitly anti-feminist articles — something they hadn’t explicitly focused on in the past. For example, a recent post defends Trump’s comments on Access Hollywood in 2005 using MRA logic to reposition him (and all wealthy men) as the victim: “Why do they keep leaving out the first part of his ‘grab em by the pussy’ quote? He clearly said: ‘When you’re a star, they let you do it.’ He is talking in the context of women throwing themselves at rich men.”
