Saudi Arabian miniskirt-wearing model Khulood arrested by police in Riyadh

The young woman, known only as the model Khulood, who was filmed walking through an ancient Saudi Arabian fort wearing a mini-skirt and bearing her midriff has been arrested, according to Saudi Arabian state TV.
The video, first shared on Snapchat, shows her walking around an empty historic fort in Ushaiager, a village north of the capital, Riyadh, in the desert region of Najd, where many of Saudi Arabia's most conservative tribes and families are from.

Will Saudi Arabia's miniskirt model Khulood be flogged for her alleged crime?

A recent, similar crime to that of model Khulood's was committed by Malak Al Shehri, who shared a photo of herself wearing a skirt and no hijab on the streets of Riyadh in December 2016.
Like Khulood, she was promptly arrested and her case was filed by police. Various western news agencies speculated that she would be lashed for her offence but there has been no official statement to corroborate this.
Certain sections of Saudi society expressed as severe a contempt for Al Sheri on Twitter as they have done in the Khulood case.
One said: "The least punishment for her is beheading her." Another added: "Kill her and throw her body to the dogs," according to the Daily Mail.

Yes, she does know the law but if she is staging a protest, she is brave and I'm sure she knows what the consequences will be.

As for 'strutting her stuff' outside of Saudi, that would be a pointless 'protest'. If you are protesting against a countries 'dress code', one can only stage the protest inside the country where the 'dress code' exists. Any 'protests' outside the country will be conveniently ignored.
