Not sure that will be the subject of cultural appropriation...

O.k., SJWs, what should we think about all this?

It's not about eating dogs it's the fact they are tortured before death I'd happily spray the whole town with Sarin .

What if they make hot dogs out of the dog meat?

We should have a reverse festival one year where we feed Chinese people to dogs and rhinos, and Japanese people to whales and dolphins.

Meat is meat. So long as the animal husbandry ain't cruel and the method of slaughter is humane...dogs are unlikely to go extinct by being farmed. Better than eating grasshoppers or meal-worm's that some are suggesting as a way out of the climate change driven future food shortages. So long as it is explained to the Chinese terrified dogs don't taste better, it is actually urine that effects the taste, they should self-humanise the dog meat industry. :coffee:

If you eat meat does it matter how it died as long as it's dead when you eat it?

Actually, there is no ethical issues involved here, for the following reasons:

1. The primary target is the large Red Kangaroo, whose numbers are higher now than before white settlement, mainly due to greater water availability in arid regions through farmer's bores and dams. So it is the opposite of an endangered species...

2. They are killed in their natural environment, typically by a single shot to the head by an expert. They do not suffer the stress of captivity or being transported - they live wild, and die instantly.

Do you know how stressed your last steak was, or whether you're eating a happy sausage? ;)
