Or, since we're not really going to improve anything, go for naked self-interest.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Smartphone app at center of Iowa debacle causes delays in results
Organizers running the precincts did not get to test the mobile app until just hours before voting began

There was widespread confusion and frustration as the results of Iowa’s closely watched caucuses were delayed Monday evening as the state Democratic party did “quality control” on the results.

The surprise delay came as the state Democratic party for the first time used a smartphone app to transfer results from the nearly 1,700 local precincts to the state party, which checks and compiles the results.

There were reports that some precinct chairs were unable to use the app and were calling in the results instead using a phone hotline, but were encountering long waits.
You dont use untested technology (who got paid for that?).
Who got paid? The company that makes the app, which has also taken substantial amounts of business from the Buttigieg campaign. Hmmm., And Buttigieg declared his campaign 'victorious' with c.25% of the vote in time for the nightly news (although he later said he was only speaking figuratively - yeah right Pete).

Whatever the cause of the reporting ruckus one thing's for sure, the media aren't talking about Bernie winning Iowa with around 30% of the vote or about the arse falling out of Biden's effort - funny that eh?

What if the Democrats' big 41-seat midterm victory in 2018 didn’t happen because candidates focused on health care and kitchen-table issues, but simply because they were running against the party in the White House? What if the outcome in 2020 is pretty much foreordained, too?

What if there aren’t really American swing voters—or not enough, anyway, to pick the next president?

More: Bitecofer’s theory, when you boil it down, is that modern American elections are rarely shaped by voters changing their minds, but rather by shifts in who decides to vote in the first place. To her critics, she’s an extreme apostle of the old saw that “turnout explains everything,” taking a long victory lap after getting lucky one time. She sees things slightly differently: That the last few elections show that American politics really has changed, and other experts have been slow to process what it means.

The democrats have presented such a clear case in their impeachment process, that I don't need to see any defense to decide they are corrupt and actively lying for political purposes. Adam Schiff - all on his own words - kind of self-immoliates.

Then they fail to even toss a coin convincingly in a caucus. My guess is that no-one is convinced they know how to run an impeachment, a primary or anything really valuable. That is all their own doing. Bernie is their best, but Kyle Jurik might have fucked that up for him. Probably has.

So their winner can't be in the field yet. They will have to go for something dramatic and VERY woke. Oprah-Bloomburg? Michelle-Warren?

And why do you suppose no-one likes Sleepy Joe? Even his old boss, Barry, hasn't endorsed him.

So, Cunt, none of what Trump did in relation to Ukraine is problematic?

Democrats are running their primary and their normal activities as best they can. Comparing them to an actual party in power isn't really fair to them.

Pelosi committed a crime by tearing up a copy of Trump's speech. Trump says so himself, so it must be true.

'Now Trump Is Charging Nancy Pelosi With Fake Crimes, Too'
Unsurprisingly, Trump is ginning up charges of illegality against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. The Speaker’s alleged “crime” is tearing up her printed copy of Trump’s State of the Union address. A few days ago, right-wing blogger Charlie Kirk began claiming on Twitter that Pelosi violated federal law. After this charge circulated on Twitter for a few days, passing muster with such legal experts as Donald Trump Jr., it has now been officially endorsed by President Trump himself.

...

So first of all, as a non-insane person may have intuited, it is not actually a crime to tear up the printed copy of a speech. Several legal experts have confirmed that Charlie Kirk does not actually know what he is talking about, and the law in question is designed to safeguard certain kinds of documents that very much do not include speech printouts.

There are rules requiring the preservation of documents such as memos to the president, which must be preserved for historical records. Trump in fact violates that law literally almost every day. There are people whose job it is to tape back together the documents that Trump illegally tears up.

Didn't the frontrunner (Butt-chug or something) get roasted for arranging all the black folk in his crowd (females only, of course) behind him for the TV cameras?

Fucking classy leader you have there.

So with him failing clearly, and no other current candidates showing well, doesn't this mean it will be Bloomburg and whoever agrees to be bought by him?

Or will Michelle/Hillary announce later?

If I talk to the wrong person about real issues, I'll be unable to post again.

I mean, good for anyone who wants to silence any diverse opinions, but I'm assuming YOU don't want that...
and doing the 42 thing: "but the democrats..."
What is the title of this thread again?

Oh yeah, have you seen how the Democrats managed their primary?

It makes me think the whole impeachment thing was a scam to get the right person into their leadership....it sure wasn't meant to affect Trump (or failed 180 degrees)
