It does tend to be that way here but there is no actual need.

”Repeal and”...don’t give them shit (Trump)
About 4 million Americans lost health insurance in the last two years, according to a new survey from the Commonwealth Fund, which attributed the decline to actions taken by the Trump administration.

The uninsured rate was up significantly compared with 2016 among adults with an individual income of about $30,000 and a family income of about $61,000.

Additionally, people who identified as Republican also had significantly higher uninsured rates.

My congressman is trying to take care of his customers, Farmers only:
Without rehashing the nasty and brutish healthcare debates of the recent past, in an effort to provide more options to this forgotten corner of the discussion, I introduced the Rural Health Insurance Act of 2018, which provides financial assistance to qualified agriculture associations for group health plans. I am pleased that this legislation has been included in the 2018 Farm Bill that recently passed out of the House Committee on Agriculture.

Trump will not call for negotiation on Medicare drug prices despite Democratic hopes
Democrats have been pressuring Trump ahead of his speech to renew his call for Medicare to negotiate drug prices, something that Trump touted on the campaign trail in 2016, in a break with Republican party orthodoxy.

Officials said Thursday that the proposals will include ways to crack down on "gaming" where drug companies prevent cheaper generic drugs from getting to market. Another proposal will go after foreign countries that officials said are free-riding on U.S. innovation in drug development.

WSJ: Many insurers are already seeking double-digit increases in premiums for 2019. ACA premiums are expected to rise 15% next year, on average, largely because of the loss of the health law’s penalty for the uninsured, according to the federal Congressional Budget Office. The ACA’s backers argue that lets healthier people opt out of coverage.

As predicted by Ruth Bader Ginsburg in her concurrence in the Supreme Court decision upholding the ACA.

Well, the Democrats started chirping about the cost of healthcare - the cost they tripled when they enacted Obamacare. If they have a way to reduce the cost, then have at it. And, "subsidies from the government" is not the same thing as cost reduction.

I was at the breaking point under Obama when my family insurance premium shot up to $1200 per month, with twice the deductible I had before, and the same copays. Now you're going to sit there and say that once the Democrats have done the heavy lifting of raising the price of insurance, it's up the Republicans to find a way to provide the same coverage for less? LOL.

Good, the ACA is a piece of shit. Repeal it. The pre-ACA state of affairs was way better.

Where have you been? Double digit is nothing. From 2013 to 2016, mine doubled one year, then went up 50% from there, and then went up another 10%. My family health insurance is almost $1400 this year. In 2014, I had a conversation with reps from BlueCross/Blue Shield who were at that time speaking in amazement about how some of their policies were up to $1200 per month (low deductibles etc.). By 2015, my high deductible policy was almost at that $1200 mark.

This is the Democrats' fault. Fuck them and their bullshit now about the price of insurance. They didn't give a fuck about insurance rates until Trump became President.

For everyone. At the rate Obamacare has been jacking up my premiums, I won't be able to afford it anymore soon. I've got too kids, and I can't be spending $2000 a month on insurance premiums, no matter how "rich" some assholes say I am.

What do you need insurance for? I thought you had perfectly good free health care in the US..
