Democrats...let's move on

Al Franken in 4 years? especially if trump survives 4 years. You need a professional entertainer to run then.

Said Peter...what you're requesting just isn't my bag
Said Daemon, who's sorry too, but y'see we didn't have no choice
And our hands they are many and we'd be of one voice
We've come all the way from Wigan to get up and state
Our case for survival before it's too late

Bill Maher did have another one in mind, from California. It's in one of his videos.

I did suggest Franken a few months ago. Seems a professional comedian would be the way to beat an amateur comedian. But would the Americans elect a Jewish president?

Bill Maher Pitches Gavin Newsom as 2020 Presidential Candidate
http://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/pj- ... -candidate
Before he can run for president in 2020, Newsom has a more immediate concern — he's currently running to be California's next governor. That election will take place in November 2018, just under two years from now.

In recent times, the house could easily flip 20-40 seats. 4 years of Trump symbolically grabbing our (women's) pussies should do it.

Democrats too complicated for simple white folk
People vote Republican because Republicans offer "moral clarity"—a simple vision of good and evil that activates deep seated fears in much of the electorate. Democrats, in contrast, appeal to reason with their long-winded explorations of policy options for a complex world.

Diagnosis is a pleasure. It is a thrill to solve a mystery from scattered clues, and it is empowering to know what makes others tick. In the psychological community, where almost all of us are politically liberal, our diagnosis of conservatism gives us the additional pleasure of shared righteous anger. We can explain how Republicans exploit frames, phrases, and fears to trick Americans into supporting policies (such as the "war on terror" and repeal of the "death tax") that damage the national interest for partisan advantage.

But with pleasure comes seduction, and with righteous pleasure comes seduction wearing a halo. Our diagnosis explains away Republican successes while convincing us and our fellow liberals that we hold the moral high ground. Our diagnosis tells us that we have nothing to learn from other ideologies, and it blinds us to what I think is one of the main reasons that so many Americans voted Republican over the last 30 years: they honestly prefer the Republican vision of a moral order to the one offered by Democrats. To see what Democrats have been missing, it helps to take off the halo, step back for a moment, and think about what morality really is.

Is Jed Clampett still alive? He might be far enough removed from politics for the hayseed voters.
Or Forrest Gump.

I would definitely vote for Al Franken.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

I don't see where the democrats hold the high ground on anything. To steal hard working tax payers money is immoral and if you do so then it should be on a limited scale and justify every tax dollar you spend. It is funny how loads of people are risking their money and their very lives to live in countries build by simple white folk. Makes you think or if you are a lefty/liberal which makes you incapable of thinking this just confuses you.
We should be MOST skeptical of ideas we like because we are sufficiently skeptical of ideas that we don't like. Penn Jillette.

In the land of the free, you're free to fuck off out of it, if you don't like it.

I recommend that country where they don't pay tax.

It must be a great place.

Sure, I want my tax dollars spent on killing tens of thousands of civilians looking for weapons of mass destruction and supporting Exxon with corporate welfare. Moral high ground my ass. Every Republican politician is a white collar criminal.
