I tell you what, I hope the fucking "Health Party of Australia" - a bunch of anti-science anti-vaxxers, doesn't get into the senate by way of the donkey vote by being the first party on the senate voting form. Will be majorly pissed if they do.

Pauline Hanson's party. And/or Fred Nile's "Christian" "Democrats". Both had candidates in my electorate. I voted Greens, of course, in the lower house, and Greens at 1 in the Senate with a host of other outsider parties making up the other 5 preferences.

Yeah, Pauline seems acceptable to me, and is in Queensland too. Her being "accused" of racism is obviously a big plus for me

She's a real right wing bigot dumb cunt. Perfect match for you. There's plenty of analysis saying she will win a Senate seat in Queensland and possibly even a lower house seat for her party. Faaark. I thought we were done with her years ago. She's run in about 4 or 5 elections and only ever had success in her first one. But I guess she's riding on this tide of anti-establishmentarianism that's gripped the world lately.

Big swings against the Coalition so far, but probably not enough. Either way, PM Turnbull is toast soon enough.

His party won't win enough to sustain him, or will it designate somebody else if it wins?

It's looking close to a hung parliament at the moment. They'll almost certainly roll Turnbull soon if the government manages to hold on.
