Home owners already pay taxes:

Taxe d'habitation if they live in the home. People living for rent also have to pay this.
Taxe foncière for each home they own.
Impôt de solidarité sur la fortune if they are wealthy.

As far as I see, Macron wants to abolish Taxe d'habitation and Impôt de solidarité sur la fortune and replace that with a new property tax systems in such a way that home owners who are not super wealthy will not pay more than they already do today.

Yeah, and that unnamable wants to levy yet another, based on some rhétoric I did not catch that we're not paying rent and can afford to, therefore tax... and for that he deserves to die horribly because he wants to make me starve.
I'm too poor to pay either the taxe d'habitation (people who don't pay the Impôt sur le Revenu usually get next to total rebates on that) and of course the ISF does not touch the pauper I am... but his tax on owners dwelling on their own property would hit me square in the guts, he wants to shank a tax on the rich and levy one on poor home owners, fuck him with a lit dynamite stick... or hand him with bickford and then detonate it...

he wants to abolish working taxes that I don't pay and replace them with something that might hit me where it hurts barely less than a kick in the nuts... I don't trusst his promises, it looks like poor homeowners will be hit square and that alone is enough to make me vote against him...
