http://sheikyermami.com/2009/09/16/wild ... d-rag-tax/

I know its a dubious site, but the article is correct (and in English so you can read it too). Geert Wilders was arguing in favour of a "kopvoddentax" or head-rag-tax of 1000 euros (890 British pounds/1470 us dollar) for any muslima that wants to wear a hijab in public.

Gaa. The benefits of Atheism are only apparent when it's 'Organic Atheism' meaning voluntary atheism. Don't worry though. We've got statist pricks in every country, it's not just yours (or maybe that should make you more worried :? )

Hahaha. From what I know of Wilders, he seems to just want to stir up shit in order to get people to think about the issues with Islam. To me he seems like an ok guy, but maybe it's just because I don't live in Holland.
Is there for honest poverty
That hangs his heid and a' that
The coward slave, we pass him by
We dare be puir for a' that.

I'd laugh constantly except it becomes a terrorist target for being anti-islam.

Holland is surely one of the sanest places on the planet!

..which means that you can have real debates and an idea like this can create discussion even if it is raised as a deliberate but ironic proposal.
