Death By Dog: North Korean Speciality

Post by Clinton Huxley » Fri Jan 03, 2014 10:50 am

Apparently, Kim Jong Un had his "scum" uncle killed by throwing him naked to a pack of hungry dogs. As ways to die go, this is probably one of the not quite so good ones.

I smell a rat. Surely the starving North Koreans would have already eaten any dogs they could lay their hands on?

Maybe this is a way of fattening up the pooches before putting them in a pie?

So he could eat his errant uncle indirectly? Now that would be suitably gross. :ani:

Makes sense with food being a precarious commodity in NK. Not a bad way to die once it is over and done with. Most people like dogs. And dogs like people.

You won't, if you're in North Korea. They've eaten them all. And anyway, rats would starve in NK.

Of course, this was the Daily Hate, reporting on a story in a Chinese newspaper, so can't be verified. On the other hand, I've read a few books on the North Korean regime by some who've managed to escape and they do seem to take barbarism seriously over there.

On the day it was announced, they said he was executed by machine-gun firing squad.
If I was the maniac in charge, I would have ordered death by rat. Much nastier than dog.

Yeah, I heard he was executed by an anti-aircraft gun. Seems more likely and spectacular than death by dog.

Dog death an ancient Korean execution method, so I hear.

At least it wasn't death by dog breath - some things are too horrific to imagine.

The thing is, the uncle probably was stealing and running his own little fiefdom. Now any good dictator can't allow that to happen.

I imagine they keep a few dogs in the military for tracking people down, but like others mentioned, the first news reports were about anti-aircraft guns. I don't trust SK's or China's propaganda much more than I do NK's. A bit more, but it's still propaganda. Fact is, probably nobody who wasn't there really knows.

It's all black propaganda by the imperialist capitalist pig-dog running....err....dogs. They'll be accusing Juche of a barracks-like mentality next.

I heard he was rolled in bread crumbs and let loose in Pyongyang's equivalent of Trafalgar Square. :read:
