White Britons retreating from minorities

London: White Britons are ‘retreating’ from areas dominated by ethnic minorities, a study says.
Analysis of census figures shows that white Britons are leaving areas where they are in a minority and are being replaced by immigrants and other ethnic minorities.
As a result, nearly half of ethnic minorities — 4 million people — live in communities where whites make up less than half the population, the study by the Demos think-tank found.
Demos said the survey showed a “spiral of white British demographic decline” as white Britons choose to leave minority-dominated areas.

Trevor Phillips, the former chairman of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, said the findings should make us “a little anxious”, and were “not good news for the cause of integration”.
He said: “What ought to make us a little anxious is the ‘majority retreat’ it has unearthed - white people leaving minority-led areas and not being replaced.”
In 2005, Mr Phillips warned Britain was “sleepwalking into segregation” as the UK was dividing into ‘ghettos’ of particular races and religions.
Sir Andrew Green, chairman of the MigrationWatch think-tank, said: “This is extremely serious. It is undeniable evidence that we have indeed been sleepwalking into segregation as Trevor Phillips warned, and it is the clear result of Labour’s mass immigration policy.
“Public dismay at the pace of change in our communities largely explains why so many voted as they did in last week’s local elections. The case for a sharp reduction in immigration is now overwhelming; we cannot possibly integrate new arrivals on anything like the present scale.”
Demos said the change was the result of “white retreat”, where departing white Britons are replaced by migrants and “the natural growth of the minority population”.
Its analysis of the 2011 Census showed 4.6 million ethnic minority people — or 45 per cent of the total — live in areas where white Britons make up less than half the population.
Some 4.1 million people belonging to an ethnic minority live in council wards in which all whites — including foreign nationals — add up to less than half the total. That compares with only a million ethnic minorities — 25 per cent of the total — in the same situation at the time of the 2001 Census.

Proof of the failure of multiculturalism, and that the solution is expulsion of ethnic minorities back to their home countries because the minorities failed to live up to their end of the bargain. Better to do it now in a humane and organized manner rather than the inevitable more violent way.

That wouldn't solve crime or poverty. A Eugenics solution of sterilizing the dumb or violent would lead to a utopia.

The sad thing is I'm getting the sense that this is actually true, from the changing patterns of inhabitants locally. However we've always had a bit of it here in Glasgow, used to be catholics and protestants and really most cities have it based on class, so why should ethnicity be any different?

To do that you'd first have to categorise what everybody's race is. The South Africans tried that (for totally the opposite reason), it was all a bit farcical really.

Don't assume white flight when it could be simply people avoiding third world customs like honour killings and Sharia war. It may be the consolidation of modernity rather than the retreat of a racial society? it mentions the Ambrosia effect and it appears that tolerance is good when numbers are small so that customs are transferred preferentially for modern values.

Bullshit - Toronto is one of the most multi-cultural city on the planet with over 50% non- caucasian and multiculturalism is encouraged and supported by government programs and has been nation wide for 50 years.

It's how it's managed to avoid ghettoizing and you can't really legislate bigotry out....even in forums.

You'll have to specify a race, as Asian is nonsensical as a reference to race. Siberian gilrl? Persian? Semitic-Jew? Arab? Turkish? Georgian? Azerbaijani? Turkmeni? Kazhak?

As opposed to African, which I generally find less attractive... now, I'll be as happy with an Uzbek, Chinese, Viet, Thai, or Northern Indian girl ... Now, if you can get me a Korean or Japanese, that would be a treat... Semites and muslims, I'd rather avoid for cultural reasons. A Georgian or Armenian would be perfect, though.
