It is true that some who have come here have been trouble, but more often than not, we get hard working people who want to get on in life. The vast majority of people who have come to Ireland have been an asset for us.
Of all the EU measures that we've had, free movement of goods, services, and workers have been positive.
No foreign government can send their troublemakers to Ireland, by the way.
We Irish have our fair share of troublemakers in other countries, notably the travellers who fraudulently prey upon unsuspecting people.
What a bummer for this time of the year. I know the guy from the local, he's friend's of some of my friend's younger brothers. I hope he's found safe.
