‘N. Korean Leader Has Pancreatic Cancer’

North Korean leader Kim Jong-il is suffering from pancreatic cancer, South Korea's cable news network YTN reported Monday, quoting unidentified intelligence sources in South Korea and China.

Kim, 67, was diagnosed with the cancer around the time he collapsed by a stroke last summer, YTN said.

Kim's health has been the object of intense media speculation due to concerns about instability and a possible power struggle within the reclusive communist country.

Recent photos showed that Kim looked wearier and older than before.

His third and youngest son, Jong-un, has reportedly been picked as Kim's heir but the North Korean government has yet to confirm it.

Couldn't happen to a nicer person.

Any confirmation that he passed NK's pink slip to the kid?

A timely covert activity could boost the chances of that, though. Or even a not-so-covert one... :eddy:

I've got a whole litre of it waiting for the news to be confirmed...

Joking aside, it really is a horrible way to go, and I don't really want to see him or anybody else suffer like that; I'm just ready for him to get the hell outta the way ASAP and by any means necessary.

I hope he'll have an epiphany of sorts before he croaks. Since I don't believe in the hereafter, I want him to realise what a shit he's been while there's still time.

I won't be holding my breath though. :ddpan:
