It's time to tell the sociopaths of the 0.1% that you're angry and nothing will tell them like a hit on their income. Deny BOFFA and Citibank and the rest of the banksters their fees and charges. Support banks in your local community. Put your money where it will do you and your neighbors some good.

I've never been a fan of large banks and people are probably better off using more local credit unions.
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

I think a credit union ran by the federal government sort of defeats the purpose of it.

I think a credit union ran by the federal government sort of defeats the purpose of it.
It's not run by the government, it's overseen by the Navy and is limited to eligible people. Otherwise it's just another C.U. The major difference is the address information starts withe "current". :hehe:

By chance I am with HSBC and have been for over 20 years. Again by chance they are about the most capitalised bank around - in the UK anyway and thir interest rates are some of the best, admitedly of a very bad bunch.

As an aside HSBC stands for Hong Kong Shanghai Bank. The bought out the old 'Midland Bank' in the UK twenty or more years ago. The new proprietors, I rwead at the time, felt that the British wouldn't take to a High Street bank having a Chinese association, thus the acronym.

How times change.
