Greg Sargent, the author of the Plum Line blog on the Washingon Post's website, has a 10-year-old son who perfectly understands the Greedy Obnoxious Perverts' 2012 election strategy:
Their tactics are transparent to a 10-year-old. Says it all, really.

Political indoctrination of children.

As offensive a practice as religious indoctrination
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

I was that smart by the time I was 10. I was aware enough of politics to have an opinion different from my parents' when I was being toilet trained.
Children are not stupid. They're just inexperienced.
And you are trying to avoid the point of the cartoon, and of the thread. What's your agenda?

Why would I have an agenda when it comes to merkin politics? Chill with the paranoia

Why would it automatically be political indoctrination?
Most kids have the same political opinions as their parents...at least until they become adolescents.

You were the one who made up the lie about the columnist. I asked why and you lied about me too.
You tell me.
Just askin'. Pretty interesting you get all wound up over a pretty simple question.

Paranoid of indoctrination, paranoid of people with agenda.
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."
