Career v. private life

Post by Shaker » Tue Mar 31, 2009 3:18 pm

This story has got Shaker's dander up ... Image
A PE teacher faces disciplinary action after pictures of her in a range of "completely inappropriate" poses appeared on a modelling website.

In one photograph, Natasha Gray was shown wearing a thong and lying on her front on a bed.

Ben Slade, head teacher of Manor Community College in Cambridge, said the head of PE should not have posed for these pictures.

"They were completely inappropriate for somebody who is a teacher," he said.

"They were absolutely not pornographic but do you want to see your teacher in that way? Probably not."

...

"The school has clearly defined policies on how staff should present themselves both in and out of school," said Mr Slade.

"These include the standards of behaviour expected of them at school and in their personal lives.

"Neither the school nor the governing body will tolerate anything - from staff or pupils - which may bring the school's name into disrepute.
I say bollocks to the fact that she's a teacher. As far as anybody can make out from the available facts, Ms Gray's private activities in her personal life away from school have no bearing on or connection with the school or her actions therein, and it's absolutely not the place of anybody connected to the school to dictate what a private individual can and cannot do when they're not on school premises and not acting on the school's time - let alone to get pictures on commercial websites removed. Oh, and Mr Slade, for the record I have happy memories of several teachers I'd have been only too happy to have seen "in that way." The school's name is already in disrepute - it clearly has a snivelling little twat for a headmaster.

It's the parents which are the problem.
They make leaps in judgement.
"The fact is that far more crime and child abuse has been committed by zealots in the name of God, Jesus and Mohammed than has ever been committed in the name of Satan. Many people don't like that statement but few can argue with it."

Who cares. She's a PE teacher FFS! It's not like she's a proper teacher. One less twat with a whistle.

Seriously, this does seem like ultra-prissy bollocks to me. I mean, a thong! If she wants to parade in the Miss Nude World show that is her choice. Who is that little four-eyed cunt of a headmaster (in his oh-so-forceful arms-folded pose) to censure her for what she wears and where she chooses to display it? If I had kids in that school, I would threaten to remove them because of him.

The article also says:
Results have gone up considerably in the last two years - from 32% achieving 5 A-C grades at GCSE to 50%.
Stupid Principal. He's just jealous being the fat ugly sod that he is.

I hope he is as militant about keeping an eye on those seemingly well behaved teachers who do the really nasty stuff, in private, possibly with students.
