Trump is in Arizona to win. He will win 2024, then win 2020 by recount. After that he will win the popular vote in 2016 against Hillary.

Trump is really pissed off if an infrastructure deal passes. He is a bit more vague about vaccination. If republicans and Fox start going to actually promoting vaccinations (most governors eventually will) it is starting to look like the end. Once the GOP is done with 2022 election, where they still need Trump, then the real problem gets to the front: Trump 2024. What will they do? Trump will lose, but without Trump the loss is certain.

It's not these things that matter to Trump. It's all the same what they pass or don't pass. He just does not want Biden to have any success. Trump failed with Obamacare and nothing was the same after.

Our governor, following Trump, no longer trashes vaccinations. But:

The most disturbing element was Trump's calculated and deliberately vague promise that Democrats plan to "get rid of" certain people, dog-whistling a meme that has been spreading on far-right social media called "Ten Stages of Genocide," which implies that liberals are plotting to exterminate Trump supporters. Trump began his presidency persecuting Mexicans, Muslims and Central Americans while conjuring false visions of their violence to justify that persecution, then expanded to target Black Lives Matter protesters and anti-fascists with the same strategy. Trump is now making it clear that if he returns to office he will be going after all liberals and encouraging his supporters to do the same.

Trumps donated his salary..to himself:

“Trump’s White House never said where – or even if – he donated the last $220,000 of his salary, covering the final six months of 2020 and the first 20 days of 2021,” reported the Post’s David Fahrenthold, who has scrupulously tracked Mr Trump’s personal and corporate finances.

It’s unclear whether Mr Trump opened his wallet after that. More than a dozen federal agencies were mum on whether they received a final gift. Spokespeople for Mr Trump promised to get back to the Post on the matter, but then failed to follow up.

Mr Trump is not one to let a good deed go unnoticed, so it would seem unlikely that he would quietly donate to a federal agency. And, as the Post, reported, Mr Trump is still receiving a government pension – which the former president has not pledged to donate.

Former United States president Donald Trump has suffered a pair of setbacks, with the Department of Justice clearing the way for the release of his tax records and also disclosing a memo showing he urged top officials to falsely claim his election defeat was "corrupt".

Handwritten notes taken by then-acting deputy attorney-general Richard Donoghue in December were released on Friday by the chair of the House of Representatives Oversight and Reform Committee, Carolyn Maloney.

They paint a damning picture of Mr Trump as he sought to get the department to take the unprecedented step of intervening to try to upend his 2020 election loss.

Hours later, the department cleared the way for the Internal Revenue Service to hand over Mr Trump's tax records to congressional investigators — a move he has long fought.

The fact that the Justice Department allowed the handwritten notes concerning the election to be turned over the congressional investigators marks a dramatic shift from actions taken during the Trump administration, which repeatedly invoked executive privilege to skirt congressional scrutiny.

The newly released notes detail a December 27 phonecall in which Jeffrey Rosen, who was appointed as acting attorney-general a few days later, is quoted as telling Mr Trump: "Understand that the DOJ can't + won't snap its fingers + change the outcome of the election."

"Don't expect you to do that," Mr Trump replied.

"Just say that the election was corrupt + leave the rest to me and the R. Congressmen," in a reference to Republican politicians.
