Learned something about Trump: he wastes gas on AF1 to go anywhere he feels. But on the East coast he helicopters around in Marine 1. Less driving. The big helicopter.

Thoughts and prayers! I hope he gets diarrhea.
Has had it for years, except it came out of his mouth or on his tweeto channel.

Boris was admitted to the ICU for only three days and didn't need to be put on a ventilator.
Rationalia relies on voluntary donations. There is no obligation of course, but if you value this place and want to see it continue please consider making a small donation towards the forum's running costs.

You sure? I heard he was on a ventilator.

Remember that urban legend where the cleaner came in and there were no outlets? So she unplugged the ventilator so she could vacuum the room, then plugged it back in.

Sadly, in the US you can only be as smart as you can afford. Most Americans simply can't make the best decisions given their circumstances.
The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?
