Money is amazing innit?

It's depressing to think of how easily fucked the average person is by the smallest legal trouble, while guys like Trump spend a lifetime paying others to make'em go away, just so they can keep golfing and grabbing strangers by the pussy.

...it reminds me of something I used to hear a lot, and which used to bother me more than it does now: you idiots aren't criminals, they don't go to jail...

...perfectly understandable, I'd be eating happy pills too.

I agree with this guy. It's time to just fucking call this what it is. Time to stop pussyfooting around the f-word.

NYT on MON
1. Night 1 of the R.N.C.
On the first night of the Republican National Convention, President Trump and his allies presented a bleak vision of the country’s future under a Biden administration. Donald Trump Jr., the president’s son, framed the election as a choice between “church, work and school” and “rioting, looting and vandalism.” Here’s a four-minute video recap of the night.

Republicans also mounted what Times reporters called “a fierce and misleading defense” of Trump’s record on race relations and the coronavirus. Here’s a fact-check.

Can it work? Political analysts aren’t sure.

“So far, the RNC seems to be mostly providing content designed to thrill MAGA devotees who already love Trump,” Robby Soave wrote for the conservative publication Reason. “I’d think that’s a questionable strategy.” And David Brooks of The Times wrote: “This convention is targeted to one voter: Donald Trump. The whole convention is to make his lonely soul feel affirmed.”

Jim Geraghty of National Review countered: “Democrats should feel a little less confident about November right about now. Given the raw material of short snippets of speech, rally video footage, flyovers, ceremonies, the president hugging the disabled, etc., talented editors can make Trump appear Reaganesque.”

There is a Trump era issue I can't really suggest a solution for. Trump took the simple solution: support oil based fuel.
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politi ... a-n1048011
ethanol is stupid, but this was no the time to mess with it. The farmers need to shift more slowly away from this ethanol production.

The ethanol is made from yeast fermentation of corn seeds. The starch goes to ethanol, the remaining protein goes to farms nearby, to feed to cows. The residues is very wet, so they don't want to transport it too far, the weight would not make it a feed you could package.
