In Republican lands, they prefer stuff that involves more than just two shots.

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
People are fleeing Melbourne for New Zealand.
Jacinda Ardern has warned there are “consequences” for people breaking New Zealand’s coronavirus border controls after three Melburnians were caught trying to enter the country during the Australian city’s lockdown.
New Zealand has placed a pause on travel from Victoria given the current outbreak in Melbourne but authorities revealed on Wednesday the family was picked up at Auckland airport last week after flying in from Sydney.
The country’s director general of health, Ashley Bloomfield, described the trio’s actions as “disappointing”...

If HCQ gets back in the news, and proves itself, will anyone say 'huh, I guess Trump was right'

This article also looks sketchy, but with the recent changes around how the media handles the lab leak hypothesis, who knows.
I mean, has anyone provided evidence for zoonotic origins? They DID get a lot of people insisting it MUST be zoonotic, so that must have been marketing wank, rather than something more tangible.

I remember the Lancet briefly publishing some bullshit about it, then retracting it. That was, of course, described as not sketchy. The sudden media storm against an obscure old drug though...that looked sketchy as fuck. What does all this mean?
There was a conspiracy between the five authors of the Nature paper and the heads of the NIH, NIAID and Wellcome Trust to cover up the lab origin of COVID.
There was a conspiracy involving Daszac, Fauci and others to push the natural origin theory. (See other emails in the recent drop.)
There was a conspiracy involving Daszac to write the Lancet letter and hide its provenance, to push the natural origin theory and paint any other ideas as conspiracy theory. Collin’s blog post is another piece of this story.
Farrar was intimately involved in both large hydroxychloroquine overdose trials, in which about 500 subjects total died.
Farrar, Fauci and Collins withheld research funds that could have supported quality trials of the use of chloroquine drugs and ivermectin and other repurposed drugs that might have turned around the pandemic.
Are the four individuals named here — Fauci, Daszak, Collins and Farrar — intimately involved in the creation of the pandemic, as well as the prolongation and improper treatments used during the pandemic?

Why do you keep citing stuff you describe as 'sketchy'? Can't you find any with some semblance of credibility?Cunt wrote: ↑Thu Jun 10, 2021 1:40 pmIf HCQ gets back in the news, and proves itself, will anyone say 'huh, I guess Trump was right'

Sketchy? I've never seen Media Bias Fact Check rate a source "Very Low" for factual reporting, and recommend "fact-checking on a per-article basis."

"that might have turned around the pandemic."
Fauci also withheld funds to see if taking roundup might have turned around the pandemic. And omega-3-fatty acids. And aspirin!

Didn't he lie about funding gain of function research too?
He isn't very believable. Next he'll try to say that criticism is anti-science lol

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
It's not a problem that some sources are sketchy, the problem is that some are seen as 'not sketchy'.
Like looking at the collections of lies Fauci told, and still treating him like a 'non-sketchy' scientist, rather than a life-long politician.

There is no such study. The WHO team investigated and collected samples all over Wuhan. Including the lab. Their mission is to study zoonosis. The primary vessel of the virus is bats.

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
There are dozens of hydroxychloroquine studies. They all conclude with: Change in symptom severity over 14 days did not differ between the hydroxychloroquine and placebo groups
Re: The Coronavirus Thread
Fauci blocked money from going into forsythia research!
Re: The Coronavirus Thread
I can see a sketchy source promoting that notion, but there is a vast difference between a reputable source and a serial liar.
One you trust, but verify. The other, you avoid like the plague.

Have you seen the 'right-wing' concerns over the Fauci emails?
They are hilariously over-dramatic about it. It's quite theatrical.
