Well, the "centrist" Democrats, who kept selling out to the reactionaries is no more is no more, so he has no options left but to vote Labor. Having spent 40 years as a teacher in a boys-only, catholic-run school, his natural choice would have been Australia's equivalent of the of the US's political wing of NAMBLA, but that never existed either, so the next best choice would be whatever the Family First Party is named nowadays.

On a serious note, with just over 70% of the vote counted now, the swing to Labor has shrunk to 4.8% with a total of 42.9% of the primary vote now, but the swing against the so called Libs is 6.1% (30.4% of the primary vote) and their coalition partner has lost 0.2% (5.2%). The conservatives are dead in the water.
