Former president Donald Trump always took great pains when talking about COVID-19 to call it the “Chinese flu.” He claimed he had intelligence reports that said the virus had been developed in a Wuhan, China clinic, that it escaped, and that the Chinese government ignored its existence until it was too late.

That seems one of the main ones. I listened to the others via audio, so don't have their 'show notes' to connect for you.

To me, the 'stealth edits' say a lot more about this, than the particular 'bombshells' being bandied about.

But that book deal thing is pretty interesting too. Did he have a book deal? And was it yanked because of this? If that is true, I don't see the connection myself. (though there IS lots of speculation, of course)

One discussion that came up though, that sounds pretty reasonable, was that with all the giant efforts to do something about this, not much was put into effective treatments.

Vaccines, lockdowns, medical-system prep, but any drug billed as 'treatment' was quickly dismissed by media. Especially the out-of-copyright ones.

Maybe not related, but if any drug provided effective treatment of the 'Rona, it would have been difficult to get emergency approval for new drugs.

Or it looks that way to those examining HCQ and Ivermectin. Both treatments, both suddenly treated as 'unsafe' by a frenzied effort to...stop using the cheap stuff?

Introduction
We analyze all significant studies concerning the use of ivermectin for COVID-19. Search methods, inclusion criteria, effect extraction criteria (more serious outcomes have priority), all individual study data, PRISMA answers, and statistical methods are detailed in Appendix 1. We present random effects meta-analysis results for all studies, for studies within each treatment stage, for mortality results, for COVID-19 case results, for viral clearance results, for peer-reviewed studies, for Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs), and after exclusions.
We also perform a simple analysis of the distribution of study effects. If treatment was not effective, the observed effects would be randomly distributed (or more likely to be negative if treatment is harmful). We can compute the probability that the observed percentage of positive results (or higher) could occur due to chance with an ineffective treatment (the probability of >= k heads in n coin tosses, or the one-sided sign test / binomial test). Analysis of publication bias is important and adjustments may be needed if there is a bias toward publishing positive results.
