Another white-supremacist who looks like he probably can't sustain a jog for five minutes or pass a basic math exam. If Brad Pitt were a white supremacist, at least it would be kind of understandable...

It's almost as comically satisfying as seeing antifa street gangs bravely hiding their faces while assaulting those who disagree with...well...whatever politics they are pushing.Seabass wrote:Another white-supremacist who looks like he probably can't sustain a jog for five minutes or pass a basic math exam. Steve Bannon is enjoying his time in Europe. He stated that he wants right wing political movements to wear racism, xenophobia, and nativism as a 'badge of honor.' Now he's also expressed his admiration for Mussolini. What a guy!

That's not accurate. He did not say to wear racism, xenophobia and nativism as a badge of honor. He said that when certain folks call you racist, xenophobic or nativist, wear that as a badge of honor. The point is that the people who sling those labels around do so indiscriminately, and they are not accurate accusations. So, you don't apologize, and don't get into the denial game. Just tell them to fuck off and be proud that the far left asshats are calling you a racist. I do not think Steve Bannon is ceding to the leftists the power and authority to determine who really is racist and xenophobic. If it's up to that ilk, all white people, all conservatives, etc. are racist and xenophobic.
He asked "why do they call you racists, homophobes, xenophobes, etc....?" And, he answered "because they can't answer the basic questions that they put in front of them. You argue for sovereignty, and they call you a nativist. You argue for your freedom, and they call you a xenophobe. You argue for your country, and they call you a racist. But the days of that smear are over." Then he goes on to say wear that as a badge of honor.
So, you see, he's not admitting to being a racist. He's saying that he and the people he's talking to are not racists, but they are being CALLED racists by their opposition, because their opposition is devoid of substance.
But, of course, he gets portrayed as if he's saying "be proud racists, wearing racism as a badge of honor," which isn't anything close to what he said.

“When I was in college, I took a terrorism class. ... The thing that was interesting in the class was every time the professor said ‘Al Qaeda’ his shoulders went up, But you know, it is that you don’t say ‘America’ with an intensity, you don’t say ‘England’ with the intensity. You don’t say ‘the army’ with the intensity,” she continued. “... But you say these names [Al Qaeda] because you want that word to carry weight. You want it to be something.” - Ilhan Omar

The Alt-Right has had a Canadian banned from entering the UK due to her being an LGBTQ+ supporter. You almost can't write comedy like this - no-one would believe it lol
She was trying to promote inclusion in the Muslim communities of LGBTQ+, by sharing a pamphlet. Pretty uncontraversial one, too...just has a rainbow and says 'allah is gay, allah is trans, allah is all of us' or some hippie-dippie bs

I think that was Lauren Southern, so they know she's not serious about "inclusion" she's just insulting Islam. So, ban her!

You may know something about her I don't, but the pamphlet looks like a serious effort to be inclusive among both groups.
The hilarious thing is that the 'alt-right' is who banned her, but I think most folks would not call them 'alt-right', but instead call them smart, progressive and sensitive.

Your links are rubbish. If that's the best you can do, I don't know why you bother.L'Emmerdeur wrote:Steve Bannon is enjoying his time in Europe. In wikipedia which is just a tad less biased it says :
All good stuff if you're an American.wikipedia wrote: A self-described economic nationalist, Bannon advocates for reductions in immigration,[26] restrictions on free trade with China and Mexico,[27][28] and an increased federal income tax for those earning incomes of over $5 million a year.[29] Bannon is a skeptic of military intervention abroad and has opposed proposals for the expansion of U.S. involvement in Afghanistan,[30] Syria,[31] and Venezuela.
He may well be an asshole, but you have failed to make any case for that.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

She is pretty, NineBerry. What did you think of her pamphlet? Would you hand it out at your school? Would you ask your Imam if you could post one on the bulletin board?

Lauren Southern is definitely not a progressive (not suggesting it would be good if she was, progressivism is awful). But she does some gag stuff, like she got herself identified as a man on her driver license in Canada. And, she was fond of saying she identified as an attack helicopter. She is famous for being attacked by leftists, who have physically hit her, and thrown liquids on her (one time it was suggested they threw piss on her). She has covered slut walks and stuff in Canada, calling rape culture a myth, and asking uncomfortable questions to the participants.Cunt wrote:You may know something about her I don't, but the pamphlet looks like a serious effort to be inclusive among both groups.

She's done nothing worth "banning," mind you. This whole trend of banning people based on their political viewpoints is really getting out of hand. The world is more and more ceding some authority to governments to determine what political viewpoints are acceptable. That's not how it works. The government reflects the politics of the people. The government isn't to enforce the politics of one faction or another against those they deem "hateful" or "dangerous." Under that logic, it's fine to ban communists from a country. And in the mid-20th century, a long fight was won to demonstrate that "being" a communist or holding such reprehensible views were not grounds for exclusion, but grounds for debate. Now, if one breaks the law, then that's another matter - engaging in violent uprisings, as communists are wont to do, is illegal. But, saying that such uprisings would be good, or that communism would benefit society, is not illegal. The same goes for alt-right views and such, but now the "progressives" have a taste of power, and they are ready to weild it.

Sure, it's not as if there aren't plentiful examples of alt-right groups and individuals proudly using the Nazi salute. Le Pen's party has a long history of racism (against Jews in particular), but no, in Bannon's view the accusations aren't accurate. Bullshit.Forty Two wrote:That's not accurate. It's not just 'far left asshats' that view the alt-right and far right movements like Le Pen's party as racists, xenophobes and nativists. There's a reason for that: to a significant extent the people who're part of these groups are those things.Forty Two wrote:So, you don't apologize, and don't get into the denial game. Bannon's bullshit can't hide the fact that if you promote racist views, people call you a racist. You can quibble about his rhetoric, and maybe you've managed to convince yourself that the alt-right, the National Front, Britain First, and other far right movements aren't well populated with racists, but the fact is that Bannon has embraced the label, whatever justification for that he wants to give.Forty Two wrote:He asked "why do they call you racists, homophobes, xenophobes, etc....?" I note that you're not denying that he admires Mussolini.

What's your favourite colour. Have you ever had a racist dog? Do you think, racist dogs should be banned from urinating in public parks? What is the square root of 42? Where could I print cheap pamphlets? Would you have children with Lauren Southern? How many?Cunt wrote:She is pretty, NineBerry. What did you think of her pamphlet? I noticed that you chose to 'pervinalia' the awkward question. That's funny.NineBerry wrote:She's ugly. I don't have a school. I don't have an Imam.

No, but I had a dog called 'Fag' in the 80's.NineBerry wrote: Have you ever had a racist dog?
Nope. Fair treatment for all dogs, even if they have been labelled by someone with an agenda.NineBerry wrote: Do you think, racist dogs should be banned from urinating in public parks?
I'm not good at maths...maybe you could ask google and get a better aswer. Somewhere between 6 and 7 probably.NineBerry wrote: What is the square root of 42?
At WalMart, when you are picking up your groceries. They can print while you shop!NineBerry wrote:Where could I print cheap pamphlets?
Nope. I don't think she is pretty enough. In fact, with my kids in their 20's, I doubt anyone is pretty enough to sell me that particular bridgeNineBerry wrote: Would you have children with Lauren Southern? How many?

See, answering questions is easy. Of course, so is pervinalia-ing them lol
