Re: The suzerain Trump
Trump went digging deep to find some sucker to appoint:
Dana Boente has already been sworn in as acting attorney general, the White House confirms, at 9pm ET.
The White House said he is now authorised to sign foreign surveillance warrants (Yates was previously the only person who could do so).
Boente would not have been the automatic next-in-line to Yates, some have pointed out.

More propaganda, lies - I mean; alternative facts.
The facts continue. http://edition.cnn.com/2017/01/30/opini ... index.html(CNN) — I woke up this morning as an Alternative Fact.
In justifying the appointment of Steve Bannon, the president's chief strategist, to the National Security Council, Trump spokesman Sean Spicer cited my role in the Obama White House as a precedent. Spicer said press secretary Robert Gibbs and I attended classified National Security Council meetings "all the time."
That is simply not true.
As a senior adviser to President Obama in 2009, I had the opportunity to witness the fateful deliberations of his National Security Council Principals committee over the strategy the U.S would pursue in the war with Al Qaeda in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
I was not a member of the committee. I did not speak or participate. I sat on the sidelines as a silent observer with Gibbs because we would be called upon to publicly discuss the president's decision on that critical matter and the process by which he arrived at it.
We knew our presence chagrined some of the principals but, acting on the president's instructions, we were there to gain a thorough understanding of what would be one of the most important judgments he would make as commander-in-chief.

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2017/1/29 ... o-be-firedNot one network person has been let go. Not one silly political analyst and pundit who talked smack all day long about Donald Trump has been let go. They are on panels every Sunday. They’re on cable news every day.
Who’s the first editorial -- the first blogger that will be left out that embarrassed his or her outlet? We know all their names. I’m too polite to call them by name. But they know who they are, and they’re all wondering, will I be the first to go?
The election was three months ago. None of them have been let go.
And yet we deal with him every single day. We turn the other cheek. If you are part of team Trump, you walk around with these gaping, seeping wounds every single day, and that's fine. I believe in a full and fair press.
I’m here every Sunday morning. I haven't slept in a month. I believe in a full and fair press.

While thousands gathered in the streets of London to oppose Trump, another group gathered in Cardiff in support of the Pr - gah! Still can't say it.

Mutiny?State department mutiny against Trump immigration ban grows
More than 200 diplomats sign ‘dissent’ memo criticizing executive order
Press secretary Sean Spicer says dissenters should resign
A mutiny among US diplomats was gathering steam on Monday as hundreds of state department officials were reported to have signed a memo fiercely dissenting from Trump’s refugee ban.
“We are better than this ban,” one leaked version of the memo said, arguing that it would backfire, making the US less safe from terrorism. The executive order, freezing entry for nationals of a list of seven majority Muslim countries, “stands in opposition to the core American and constitutional values that we, as federal employees, took an oath to uphold”, the memo said.

Just a bunch of Obama political appointees throwing a fit in the days before there are to be replaced by Trump's people.
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

These Muslims, they might as well stay home. America is full of Mexican rapists:
When asked to provide evidence for his claim that Latino immigrants crossing the border were rapists on CNN’s “The Situation Room,” Trump told host Don Lemon he got his information from a Fusion article. When Lemon corrected him — explaining that article actually said 80 percent of women and girls from Central America are raped by human smugglers, gang members other migrants or government authorities while immigrating to the U.S. — Trump shot back dismissing the victims and suggesting Latino immigrants were the ones raping the victims.
AND BLACKS:
Trump first tweeted statistics that broke down New York City shooting suspects by race and ethnicity, citing Fox’s Bill O’Reilly as a source. Minutes later he tweeted again, correlating race and ethnicity with violent crime across the country. In response, media critic Eric Deggans wrote in the Tampa Bay Times: “There is no doubt that violent crime is a serious problem in communities of color. But connecting it to race in such a blunt and unfair fashion seems more about blaming certain kinds of people than solving the problem.”

Re: The suzerain Trump
90 000 had visas cancelled
http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nati ... story.html"Only 109 people out of 325,000 were detained and held for questioning." - President Donald Trump, tweet, Jan, 30, 2017"
But all of these numbers fail to provide the full picture. The real number is about 90,000.
According to State Department statistics, that's how many people received either nonimmigrant or immigrant visas from the seven affected countries in fiscal year 2015. That's the most recent data available, and different types of visas are available for different lengths of time, but it serves as a usable proxy for the likely universe of people affected by Trump's travel ban. (Moreover, the data does not include people who are dual-citizens, such as Dutch-Iranians, who also are impacted by the order.)
Fallout over immigration order reveals White House, GOP rifts
The executive order means that visa holders will not be able to travel to the United States for at least 90 days. Or, if they are in the United States currently, they will not be able to leave and assume that they can return before the travel suspension ends.

The police do stop people who are out of place. Bob Dylan was wandering around dressed like a "bum" in New jersey, with no wallet, no ID. People called it in. Police arrived. "He says he is Bob Dylan. Who is Bob Dylan ?" the young cop asked headquarters. "Please escort Bob Dylan back to his hotel."
