He did have one prepared. He just said he didn't.
Any fool could see that he knew plenty of that speech, he hadn't just written it.
But why should he say that he had a loser's speech ready? Why would anybody admit to that?
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

Sure Coito, it was an OK concession speech. Shallow and empty rhetoric surrounded by thanksgiving. Although I suppose that in a way it was fitting it should be empty as he will no longer have any real voice in the republican party (as the commentators pointed out) in the future. Addressing the issues of the importance of bipartisanship and cooperation in the house in any depth would have been silly. A single sentence was all he could afford I suppose. Speaking to issues his party should support would similarly be a waste of time. Although it may have swayed a few minds republican side if he had made the attempt while he still had a soapbox. That's why I say it was foolish.
Arrogant is obvious. Unless you believe that god is on your side and you cannot lose of course you must have a concession speech written for you. Even if you're fairly sure of a win you should still have one written. It would have shown him to be competent man of industry he claimed to be in preparing for both contingencies. Instead he was shown to be simply arrogant.

What I found amazing was the Romney family.
They all look like shirt models from catalogues. And Mitt looks like a grecian 2000 model.
They all have that look that makes americans buy stuff.
Is that pure coincidence?
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.
