Re: The Trump Pandemic
Late-night comedy: “President Trump’s name will reportedly be printed on the front of paper checks for coronavirus relief payments, which will be the first time the president’s name appeared on an I.R.S. refund,” Seth Meyers said. “President Trump’s name, however, still has yet to appear on a check to the I.R.S.”

Are you desperately hoping this drug combo doesn't work?
I understand that CNN is hoping that, but you?
Really, is it better for you if Trump's actions ruin the country you live in?

Re: The Trump Pandemic
I trust where you would bet, but shouldn't we check what Trump thinks of it first?
It could be awkward if we got behind this, only to find that he had said positive things about it, bought stock in the company producing it, or worse - it's tied up with that 'yoga-snatch' conspiracy of photos...
I should go research a bit.

The story behind Trump's 'miracle' drug hydroxychloroquine
The drug has been used to treat a number of diseases in the past half-century but after a French study claimed it was effective against coronavirus it has been hailed by the US president as a cure. But there is scant evidence it is effective – and it could actually be harmful.

Re: The Trump Pandemic
Can someone post where he called it a miracle cure without qualifications?
What I saw contained "ifs" and "hopes".

The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?

Re: The Trump Pandemic
wth is that supposed to be?
Just post a video of him calling it a miracle cure without qualifications.
I think I remember reading a transcript of him doing exactly that but I've been unable to find the video. Instead I keep running into shit like what you just posted.

Re: The Trump Pandemic
Rofl. Seriously? So unless he literally says the exact phrase, "hydroxychloroquine is a miracle cure for the coronavirus", then he's done nothing wrong? Has 42 hacked your account?

Re: The Trump Pandemic
I don't see what's so funny about not being able to produce a video of him calling the drug a miracle cure without qualifications.
And yeah, if a person qualifies their claim with "ifs", and "hopes", and "we'll see", "maybe", blah, blah, blah, then they haven't made as strong a claim as what you're saying. So, when people hear you say he called it a miracle cure and then go on to listen to him pepper his claim with possible doubts they're going to think you're full of shit.
