This symbolic move of missiles is merely a threat. He can't shoot them now and they were fine from where they were. Finland isn't that far.

It will be quite messy in the Baltic if he goes to war by sea. There are numerous navies. Sweden patrols the Baltic
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swedish_Navy

Finland has smaller ships that shoot missiles.

Finland will only have security with a nuclear option that can be launched by itself from its soil. To stay in existence around Russia it is clear nuclear strike capabilities are necessary.

The missile launchers were to defend Russia from any attack from the Gulf of Finland. It was a week ago. Missiles are gone.

https://www.is.fi/kotimaa/art-200000874 ... oKUK8w3S8k
On its website , the Russian Ministry of Defense has reported on an exercise in the Baltic Fleet that ended on April 5 as “planned” in which anti-naval missile system forces were training against a threat from the sea.

According to the Ministry of Defense, about 10 military vehicles and about 100 soldiers took part in the exercise.

- If the information is correct, the exercise was about moving the equipment from the depot to the fire station area into operational readiness, Kajanmaa told Ilta-Sanomat.

In Kajanmaa, the exact location where the anti-aircraft missile launchers drove to the stations is not known.
Venäjän puolustusministeriö on verkkosivuillaan uutisoinut 5. huhtikuuta päättyneestä Itämeren laivaston ”suunnitelman mukaisesta” harjoituksesta, jossa meritorjuntaohjusjärjestelmäjoukot harjoittelivat mereltä tulevaa uhkaa vastaan.

https://t.me/ragingdissident/4169
This guy posted a favourite old clip from George Carlin, talking about the big red, white and blue dick being shoved up the American People's asses lol

A classic rant against 'education', and still pretty spot on now.

The post before, the raging dissident posted about some of the captured individuals from the national guard of Ukraine, and what they were reporting about their orders.

But the Carlin stuff is more believable. If any of you are on telegram, and can see his posts about the war, you might find it interesting. I'm not fit to 'vet' this info, but it's interesting to see the propaganda from both sides.

Tommy Robinson made a joke earlier, that when Boris visited Merseyside he wore a stab vest, but went with a navy suit when visiting the war-torn Ukraine.

Will add...
What is the main contribution of the report?

- It stated that our security environment has changed radically, which will inevitably lead to a reassessment of our security policy choices.

- The report goes through different options, but does not directly compare them. It gives little consideration to various solutions here and there, such as Swedish co-operation in bilateral and multilateral structures, and at the end of the report comes a NATO analysis in which potential Alliance membership is highlighted as the strongest choice and raising Finland's defense threshold the most.

Is there anything striking or surprising in the report?

- Considering the general tone of Finnish documents, the straightforwardness of the language was striking here. For example, how directly Russia is talked about is surprising.

How does this report differ from other big foreign and security policy reports that can take years to produce?

- Timeliness. This report is tied to this ongoing historic selection. Moreover, there is indeed such a special procedure here, i.e. these are not normally provided. Under normal circumstances, the government usually outlines these once during the term of office with a foreign and security policy report, but this did come separately and depending on the situation. That makes it special.

- It can be said that this was now given in a situation where there is a place of choice. This is a tool for that national and, in particular, parliamentary debate in Parliament and perhaps more broadly within and between parties.

This has been referred to as the so-called NATO report. What does this report now say about NATO?

- Quite a lot of attention is paid here to those good aspects. Of the other options, little is said to be the same level of security guarantees or others. It does not directly recommend anything, but indirectly it points quite strongly in the direction of membership that we are now undeniably heading in.

According to Jussi Saramo , chairman of the parliamentary group of the Left Alliance , the report lacks an analysis of the risks, benefits and disadvantages. Is the report missing a critical analysis of NATO?

- You can say that. It does not in any way deal in depth with the risks or threats associated with the immediate application. On the other hand, such a document does not deal with them either, because the threat analysis is, in principle, secret to us. But it is true that the positive aspects were highlighted much more, the risks not so much.

What happens next?

- In one way or another, Parliament expresses its own position, but then how it happens. After all, decisions are made by the state leadership, ie the president in co-operation with the government.

- I assume that through the consideration of this report and the wider parliamentary inter-party coordination group, Parliament's views and readiness on these issues, as well as the room for maneuver given to the state leadership, will be communicated.

A trickle of Ukrainian refugees coming to Finland. People are now running scams, pretending they are refugees, on social media, asking for free stuff. The refugees do not need stuff like appliances.

Finland has been some kind of Nato partner for years. Now they re running exercises with Nato troops.
The aim of the exercise is also to maintain and develop the competence and performance of the Army forces for the needs of domestic defense. The goal is to create and maintain international compatibility.

- The exercise supports the development of the capabilities of the national defense in many ways and the competence of the personnel, reservists and conscripts at the individual and military level, Maavoimat writes in its press release.

The total strength of the training forces is about 3,400 people. About 150 armored vehicles and about 300 other vehicles are involved in the exercise. The exercise is led by the Commander of the Armored Brigade, Colonel Rainer Kuosmanen.

In addition, international troops from Great Britain, Latvia, the USA and Estonia will take part in the exercise.
