UK govt yesterday announced the latest in a series of coronavirus measures and the Daily Mail and the Telegraph aren't happy. England has mostly been in a full 'circuit breaker' lockdown for the last two week and the new tiered system which come into force next Wednesday have placed most of the country in the top two tiers with the severest restrictions, with only the Isle of Wight, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly in the lowest of the three tiers. Alas for the Prime Minister, his terrible month, in which he lost his most trusted aide, got worse on Thursday when the announcement of the tiers to follow the lockdown paved the way for a blistering row that threatens to tear apart his support inside the Conservative Party and across the country.
