Onamacare...if not deleted.

....sets the stage for potentially seismic changes that could curtail the law's Medicaid expansion, raise the uninsured rate, weaken patient protections, and increase premium costs for millions of people. But implementing such sweeping changes would still require overcoming procedural and political hurdles.

....Speaker Mike Johnson said last month that the ACA needs "massive reform" and would be on the party's agenda should Trump win.

The incoming Trump administration is likely to crack down on the H-1B visas used by tech companies and research institutions to hire top talent from other countries.

I guess it makes sense to want your former defense lawyer to prosecute the corrupt politicians that would illegally charge and try him in a grand conspiracy to steal the election from Trump.
AP..... Bondi has been an outspoken defender of Trump. She was one of his lawyers during his first impeachment trial, when he was accused — but not convicted — of abusing his power as he tried to condition U.S. military assistance to Ukraine on that country investigating then-former Vice President Joe Biden. And she was among a group of Republicans who showed up to support Trump at his New York hush money criminal trial that ended in May with a conviction on 34 felony counts.
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

Tulsi will give everything to Putin:
Rep. Jason Crow has no doubt that Donald Trump playing fast and loose with national security is opening the door to spying by our adversaries.

Trump is determined to destroy the Education department. Which only funds poor people in poor states. We are not poor, we send in slightly more than we get.
But there may be conditions such as teaching facts in the schools. Woke stuff.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Hundreds of thousands of students make the trip from their homes to classrooms across the state every day. It’s take a lot of money—and dedicated staff—to keep Nebraska’s education humming along.

Most of that money is local, but some of it comes from the federal government through the U.S. Department of Education.

President-elect Donald Trump has made it clear that he plans to shake up at least the federal side of the equation.
Instead, that money goes to prop up schools with higher concentrations of low-income families. It also supports special education, with a Opensky Policy Insitute report showing that 5% of the state’s spending on special education in 2020-21 came directly from the federal government.

Royers said that the money also acts as an enforcement stick, making sure schools meet a certain threshold of accessibility.

“That’s the piece that keeps our schools accountable to making sure they provide the special education services our kids deserve,” he said.
It’s unclear how Trump’s nomination of Linda McMahon to lead the Department of Education could affect this.

Even if you ignored my posts, he was still in our face every day. We thought that was waht would continue....but it was merely the start.

Voters may have been willing to risk it all for slightly lower egg prices, but regardless of what they thought they were doing, they’re getting a chaos machine — and that sort of thing gets exhausting pretty quickly.

If you’re worried about Trump dealing a deathblow to democracy, in a strange way I think the last couple weeks have actually been somewhat reassuring. The Gaetz debacle showed that Trump not only can’t get everything he wants, but remains disorganized and prone to damaging own-goals.
It takes a profound lack of discipline and judgment to burn any political capital on the likes of Gaetz. Trump’s incompetence often got in the way of his authoritarian designs the first time around. The early returns of his transition back to office and the insanity surrounding it indicate he hasn’t changed.
Or...Trump was just messing with us.

Pam Bondi will prosecute the prosecutors and investigate the investigators!

It is not the prosecutor that can be jailed or punished. The victim, Trump, can only take his case to court and be tried and found not guilty. Or he can sue the governmnet in a civil suite. The prosecutor will never pay anything or be put in jail. In current law. he can only be disbarred if found crooked.

But the general theme here is that Trump wants to now win the 2020 election as well.

The nominee to lead the CDC, Dave Weldon, has proposed in the past to take the responsibility for monitoring vaccine safety away from the experts at the CDC because he claimed there is a “conflict of interest”. This is but one indication of his stunning lack of knowledge about how the CDC functions. Dark times ahead, friends.

remember those kids who would smash all their toys within the first half hour of Christmas morning? and then they would come over to your house and smash yours, and laugh?
all those kids have grown up, and they're now members of Donald Trump's cabinet

'Conditions are ripe' for Trump's friends 'to loot the place from top to bottom': analysis
"There are several reasons to fear this could amount to a level of oligarchic corruption that outdoes anything Trump did in his first term," Sargent explains. "In short, conditions are ripe for right-wing elites to try to loot the place from top to bottom."
Musk push a policy agenda as evidence that there will be no guardrails on corruption and looting.

"Trump is showing that he will reward people who help him by giving them tremendous influence over his administration,” he said. “This will encourage more people to direct their largesse Trump’s way. We expect government to look out for the public interest. Trump is open about the fact that government is meant to serve his supporters, business partners, and friends.”
