not until the mollahs have taken the reins of power firmly in hand again, if the current round of provocateur agent fuelled protests lead to the country casting them out and setting up a US oil company friendly government, they may escape further bombings.

Trump doesn't do anything unless there's something to be gained by regime change. Does anyone know if the Iranians have any oil? A precise state decapitation operation will require starlink for information. My guess is the end game will be lots of ordinary and state side people dead, lots of oil going to America or America friendly countries. Or maybe nothing and it's quiet again that way in a repressive sort of way
