Re: The post corona virus thread.
I'm very glad to not have to look after children at the moment, plus plenty of space in the house and garden so that it's easy for Bron and I to use separate spaces when we need to, plus good local walking paths that are not too crowded. We are certainly among the lucky ones so far...
Nurse, where the fuck's my cardigan?
And my gin!

With only two in the apartment we have separate studies. My walking is problematic but my wife goes to the local woods. We have a long balcony to sit on but at present it is quite windy. I do miss the sauna. A shower even a powerful one does not clean thoroughly.

The pudding bowl hair cut is back in fashion, apparently.

I'll be giving myself a second haircut with the hair cutting device soon. It will then have paid for itself. The next next haircut will be at the haircutters. It's a franchise owned by someone locally who does not provide health insurance for his employees in 3-4 stores.
By the end of May, will the haircutter need to check my temperature with the forehead device, before they let me in?

I can get that, my brother tells me my 5 yo nephew can get positively unsufferable since the lockdown started.

As for haircuts, I was already in need of one when lockdown started, I'll be a positive hippie when I can at last go to the barber's again.

I like my pony tail and I might keep it. Wife likes it. Our hairdressers will be shut to at least to half June. It should be quite impressive by then. The old hippie days.

Re: The post corona virus thread.
I'm shaggy as fuck.
Coincidentally, since seeing most people, I have lost 30lbs.
My beard, normally close-cropped and neat, is a riot of who-gives-a-fuck.
I'm in the best shape of my life. That particular 30lbs is quite a noticeable chunk. When I lost the first 100 (a few years ago) it was noticable too, but in a different way.
Back then, I shrank from having a huge belly, to being 'normal'.
Now, I've actually started looking athletic. Heck, my keg is even turning into a 6-pack.
If ever allowed out, people might not even recognize me.

Mrs. Lak was a hair dresser in a previous life, so I'm covered for haircuts. Got one of those battery trimmer thingys for the beard.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

My beard is only a shadow of my hippie days and is not worth keeping.

That reminds me...
I worked with a guy named Tiny, and he wasn't.
He had a beard, and I remember him laughing with the fellas about how he could still taste pussy juice in it from the previous day. He also delighted in the fact that his honey would kiss him with pussy all over his face. Said it was just a matter of time before she agreed to a 3-way.
I miss Tiny. He died of pancreatic cancer a few years later. He was a good lead hand, and I hope he got his 3-way.

Masks are good. Only a political bullshittery in the CCP caused anyone to say different.
You can make your own, and still be ahead of nothing. There are guidelines and suggested design/materials all over.
Probably find some on the WHO or CDC site, if you want that kind of authority.
