Anger? I'm happy as a clam. The Donald whipped the evil bitch good and hard and now the liberals are going to get the shaft good and hard, just as they deserve. What do I have to be angry about? I'm laughing my ass off.pErvin wrote:Have a good look, as I predict he won't be here long. But, I don't give a shit if I'm suspended, or permabanned here because this cesspool of liberal maunderings is a complete waste of time and electricity and the only reason I'm posting is because it's fucking six pm and it's pitch dark out here in Death Valley and I can either troll you or watch TV on Xfinity.
Watch TV or twit liberals out in the middle of the hottest, driest place on the planet...ain't technology great?
I might go out later with the PVS-14 dual-tube stereoscopic night vision setup and look for wildlife. I saw a road-runner cross the highway right in front of me earlier today. They are way cool the way they run with their body horizontal but otherwise motionless and legs going like hell. It's like they are floating across the landscape like a Star Wars dune skimmer.
They say that most of the wildlife here is nocturnal, which isn't surprising at all in a place that peaks out at 134 F, although it was a VERY pleasant 78 today at the peak. Winter is THE time to come to Death Valley for those interested. And don't let anyone tell you its a primitive wasteland...well most of it is, but it's now a 3 million acre National Park and there's two hotels and many campgrounds with restaurants, bars, provisions, water and fuel available at Furnace Creek. Of course fuel is $4.00 a gallon but hell, it is the middle of nowhere...
You can get lost and die out here pretty damned easy however. Two dunces almost died last week in Joshua Tree NM just next door because they walked off into the sand dunes without a map or compass and ended up lost for five days having to drink their own piss to survive before a properly-equipped hiker found them. Death Valley NP is a HUGE place and most of it is pretty damned remote.
Got the motorcycle (the one I didn't sell, a KLR 650) off the custom-built hitch receiver carrier my welder friend and I built, so tomorrow I'll suit up and take it to see some remote slot canyons with marble walls that are at the end of a 25-mile long 4wd road off the main highway some 20 miles from Furnace Creek. If you're nice I'll post some pictures.

I wanted to get a wrap on the trailer saying something similar in letters six feet high and drive through SF and Berkley with it but I decided not to because I left my Level IV body armor at home and Marxifornia won't let me mount the 50BMG on the turret ring even if I don't load it. Besides, I don't have a gunner with me. Never have an MRAP or a Stryker when you really need one. Wouldn't that be outstanding...driving an MRAP decked out in "Make America Great Again" and "I drink your liberal tears" paint through Berkley? Good. Nor do you need to, nor should you. "Healthcare insurance" is, and has always been one of the most enormous frauds perpetrated on humanity ever. It's the entire reason that healthcare is so expensive to begin with. It's a racket, a criminal conspiracy and a giant ripoff and always has been.Tero wrote:my predicted headline for January
Trump announces great savings in healthcare: Insurance costs down to zero
Don't buy any insurance! You don't have to!
It started out as a way for companies to induce top executives to leave their current jobs and go to work for a different company during the Progressive Era during FDR's fucking up the economy. During WWII companies were prohibited from raising salaries in order to keep them from "poaching" high-level workers from other companies that FDR thought would harm the war effort. So instead companies began offering "perks" that weren't direct increases in salary but induced workers to change jobs, one of them being "company-funded health care" or "insurance." It was a potent inducement to change jobs and when Democrats found out about it they fucked it all up by making it mandatory that ALL large companies had to offer "health care benefits" to ALL workers, and thus began the "HMO" scam. But the plan was, all along, to transition to government-run health care because that's a very potent way for Marxists to control the votes of the dependent class. That's what Obamacare is all about. It's not about getting anyone health care, it's about DESTROYING the US health care insurance industry, and along with it the private health care industry itself by forcing insurers to exit the field, at which point a "health care emergency" is declared by the President and socialized medicine is forcibly imposed on the entire country.
But the reason that health care is unaffordable in the first place is because of the HMO/insurance vicious cycle of ever-increasing health care (not insurance) costs driven by the lack of competition between health care PROVIDERS in a time where, in particular, government subsidizes "insurance" that guarantees that a provider can charge more and still get paid more.
In the good old days health care was far less expensive because providers competed directly with one another for health care clients so they had to keep costs down while providing superior service, as in any free-market system, in order to induce people to patronize them.
The minute that the actual consumer of health care stopped being the source of payment for that health care and insurers became that source, health care costs began to skyrocket for the obvious reason that because the insurers are more capable of paying higher costs (in the opinion of providers) the more providers are going to charge them. The insurers themselves, being "insurance," which means they pay for less medical care overall than they charge their clients for, simply raise premiums when a larger number of insured use medical services than they calculated, so the insurer always stays ahead financially. That's how "insurance" works and always has...it takes a little money from a lot of people on the premise that they will only have to pay out a lot of money for a very small number of claims. This works fine when the actuarial forces are allowed to work free of manipulation, but when government begins meddling and telling the insurance company that it has to provide coverage for perils that are expensive to insure (like cancer and particular old-age related care or maternity costs) and that occur in a high percentage of the client base, the company can no longer control costs actuarially and starts losing more money that it makes because it has to pay out for perils it never intended or wanted to cover in the first place.
It's like demanding that auto insurance companies cover replacement tires and oil changes in addition to accidents. All cars need tires and oil changes and no insurer would ever be able to cover such routine maintenance without charging far more than it would cost the consumer to simply eschew the coverage and pay for the tires and oil service themselves...or decide to do without if that's their economic choice.
So when government lards-up insurance policies with everything under the sun coverage, including "wellness exams" and unlimited coverage for cancer treatment, insurance companies rapidly and correctly conclude that they can't make any money if they have to pay for every little thing that might befall a customer, so they stop offering health care insurance, as hundreds of insurers in the US have already done, exiting the entire market and leaving consumers, who are required by law to buy coverage from SOMEONE or face a tax penalty, with only one or two companies still willing to offer the insurance at utterly outrageous prices...prices so outrageous that every consumer would be better off simply putting those monthly premiums (or half of them) in a savings account and paying for health care a la carte when, and only when and if they need it.
And thus the eventual, inevitable complete collapse of the health care insurance industry, and along with it the sucking-at-the-teat care providers who have depended on that cash cow's teat to keep them in business. "Insurance" disappears as an available consumer commodity despite consumers being legally obligated to have it, the health care provider industry dries up and blows away and people either cannot find care or can only find sub-standard care because providers are afraid to buck the government's plan, and the aforesaid health care crisis emerges that drives the nation into the arms of economically infeasible UK NHS-style socialized medicine where EVERYTHING is sub-standard, unavailable or incompentently provided by poorly-paid government employees.
And then the nation goes bankrupt, just like the UK and every other socialized medicine system on the planet is bankrupting its national economy by idiotically trying to provide all the health care anyone ever needs to everyone who needs it, which is everyone, eventually.
There's a rule to the economics of health care: "Sometimes you die." The corollary rule is "If you want good medical care in case of emergency, then don't spend everything you earn on flat-screen TVs and fancy cars, put money away in a place where nobody but you can get to it against the eventual certainty that you will need expensive medical care sometime during your lifetime."

A historian has discovered a royal decree issued to Donald Trump’s grandfather ordering him to leave Germany and never come back.
Friedrich Trump, a German, was issued with the document in February 1905, and ordered to leave the kingdom of Bavaria within eight weeks as punishment for having failed to do mandatory military service and failing to give authorities notice of his departure to the US when he first emigrated in 1885.
Roland Paul, a historian from Rhineland-Palatinate who found the document in local archives, told the tabloid Bild: “Friedrich Trump emigrated from Germany to the USA in 1885. However, he failed to de-register from his homeland and had not carried out his military service, which is why the authorities rejected his attempt at repatriation.”
The decree orders the “American citizen and pensioner Friedrich Trump” to leave the area “at the very latest on 1 May ... or else expect to be deported”. Bild called the archive find an “unspectacular piece of paper”, that had nevertheless “changed world history”.
Trump was born in Kallstadt, now in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, in 1869. He emigrated to the US aged 16 initially to escape poverty, attracted by the gold rush.

What 'jobs and industry' is Trumpcunt going to bring back?Donald Trump to withdraw from Trans-Pacific Partnership on first day in officePresident-elect says he will leave TPP, with Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe warning trade deal would be ‘meaningless’ without US
Donald Trump has issued a video outlining his policy plans for his first 100 days in office and vowing to issue a note of intent to withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership “from day one”.
In the brief clip posted to YouTube on Monday, the president-elect said that “our transition team is working very smoothly, efficiently, and effectively”, contradicting a wealth of media reports telling of chaos in Trump Tower as Trump struggles to build a team.
He said that he was going to issue a note of intent to withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal, calling it “a potential disaster for our country”. Instead he said he would “negotiate fair bilateral trade deals that bring jobs and industry back”.
Hours before Trump’s announcement, Japan’s prime minister, Shinzo Abe, warned that the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) would be “meaningless” without US participation.
