Yeahbut, how many votes does "fuck all you twats" get?
The percentage of informal votes, both accidental and intentional, in the 2016 federal election was 5.05. At least 2.26% (Totally blank ballot papers and papers with scribbles, slogans and other protest vote marks) were obviously intentional.

What? There's no 'pandemic clause' in the constitution? Shocking!

For 3 million, Trump won 52 votes
Wisconsin has completed 95 percent of their recount in Milwaukee and Dane Counties. The rest of the ballots plus 386 uncounted ballots are expected to be counted on Friday The only other glitch of any merit were 65 ballots that were counted on election night that had gone missing. The ballots were later found in an election machine in a secure Milwaukee warehouse. These will be recounted on Friday. This will square the totals with the original election count.

Trump and the GOP are trying to get votes thrown out. The Trump campaign succesfully requested that two types of ballots be segregated. On the first day of the recount, the Board of Canvassers agreed to set apart those ballot envelopes from people who are indefinitely confined and thus exempt from the state's photo ID law; and a second group, where the ink color on the witness address and signature are different indicating the clerk fixed it, a policy the Wisconsin Elections Commission has allowed for years.

No idea how many ballots are affected.

Beyond these issues to be resolved, the Trump campaign reduced Biden's lead of 20,546 by 52 votes.

Two weeks before the election, I asked Sarah Cooper how she’d feel if we had a new president-elect by the time this profile ran.

She said, relieved, “I will feel like I helped expose a con man.”

Hw many times can you lose PA?
On Wednesday morning, Commonwealth Court Judge Patricia A. McCullough, who was elected as a Republican in 2009, placed a hold on the certification process for down-ballot races pending an evidentiary hearing. State officials appealed to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court later Wednesday, which triggered an automatic stay of McCullough’s order. They then asked the state high court to step in and dismiss the case altogether.

“The Commonwealth Court’s Order threatens to disrupt the certification of every race in the 2020 general election; foreclose the seating of elected representatives; indefinitely postpone the December 1 start of the General Assembly’s term; undermine the will of the voters; and cast a wholly unwarranted cloud over Pennsylvania’s election results,” lawyers for the state wrote in a filing.

Legal experts said it was unlikely that judges assigned to the case would ultimately grant a request to change the rules of an election after the fact in a way that disenfranchises millions of people.

Boockvar stated Tuesday that she certified the results for president and vice president and that Gov. Tom Wolf (D) signed the Certificate of Ascertainment for Biden’s slate of electors, adding that the certificate was submitted to the archivist of the United States.

Elsewhere in the country, Arizona Republican Party Chairwoman Kelli Ward continued her push to challenge Biden’s victory there ahead of Nov. 30, when Secretary of State Katie Hobbs (D) is scheduled to certify results.

Ward on Tuesday asked a judge to begin examining ballots and envelopes ahead of what she said would be a formal election contest filed after certification. Arizona law allows any voter to challenge the results of an election on the grounds that illegal votes were cast or that election officials engaged in misconduct. To succeed, Ward would have to show that Trump actually received the most votes in the state, which appears unlikely given that Biden’s margin of victory is greater than 10,000 votes.

A judge has set a hearing in the case for Monday.

In Georgia, a machine recount is underway of the state’s 5 million presidential votes, at the president’s request. While most counties plan on taking Thanksgiving Day off, they are scheduled to resume the recount at 7 a.m. on Friday and work through the weekend to meet the deadline of Dec. 2. The new recount is a machine rescan of the presidential ballots, which were already hand-recounted during the state’s risk-limiting audit process to ensure the accuracy of the initial count of ballots.

Despite her seemingly sudden success, it didn’t happen overnight. At 30, she quit her day job and moved back in with her parents in an attempt to focus on her acting career. Between commercial gigs and “really bad independent films,” she was auditioning for tiny roles on sitcoms and procedurals. But wins were elusive, and the despair was taking a toll on her self-worth. “I was so obsessed with losing weight and maybe having to get a nose job and maybe my teeth needed to get fixed,” she remembers. “Because that was the thing that was going to make me a good actress: how I look.”

It was during that time, in an attempt to become a more singular actor, that she found comedy. It didn’t change her circumstances in the tangible sense right away (“I obviously went broke, because you don’t make any money doing standup comedy”), but she did gain something that would become the bedrock of her career: her own voice and, even better, her calling card.

“I saw him say something like, ‘I’m going to form a committee, I’m going to call it a committee, and we’re going to make decisions, and they’re going to be the right decisions.’ And I was like, Do you think you invented the concept of committees? Because you didn’t. That’s been around for a while,” she says. “It just reminded me of these guys in meetings when I was at Google who would come in and just bullshit.”

Without hesitation, she responds with an exhale: “I will feel so good. I will feel like I helped expose a con man. And maybe I got a few more people to be like, ‘OK, we really do need to do something about this because this person should not be our president.’ People are like, ‘Oh, aren’t you sad he won’t be president anymore? He won’t give you any material!’ He doesn’t give me any material now. He’s been saying the same thing for four years. I’ll be very, very happy. And I’ll feel good about these videos.”

Reasons for Trump to go after mail-in votes? From Redditt:

At this point I'm starting to think Trump shooting himself in the foot by denouncing mail in voting before the election was actually on purpose so that he'd be able to do exactly what he's doing now.

It was just one of many miscalculations he has made in his life. It's like he lost at a casino and keeps trying to convince the dealer that he should have won. But then, what would he know about casinos?

Sidney Powell (it should surprise nobody who isn't a raving Trumpist to learn) is incompetent in an impressive variety of ways. Via the twitter thread-reader, a preliminary dissection of the Kraken, which appears to be still-born. There is so much wrong with the Kraken, from repeated spelling mistakes to seriously flawed legal reasoning and failure to properly document just about anything, that the suit seems likely to get dismissed (original thread).

The demented/drunken parties who constructed the Kraken clearly didn't bother to proof-read the filing (the lawyer who wrote the thread thinks they didn't read it at all), and all through it there are artefacts that appear to show lazy copy-pasting between formats.
