Nah, don't arm everybody. Take all the guns you would need to arm everybody, and send them to me. I'll sort it out. :smoke:

Begin? I've been saying it for decades now. It's the truth. Only people who have a paranoid distrust of their fellow law-abiding citizens could object to such persons carrying a firearm for self-defense. This is true because criminals don't obey laws and can always find a gun if they want to, no matter where they are, no matter which nation, and no matter how draconian the laws.

That's just a fact that hoplophobes are simply unable to comprehend.

Ah Seth world where everyone is either a good law abiding peserson or a baddy criminal. Makes life simple I guess

Me personally I don't know a single human being who isnt capable of cracking up and shooting up a cinema
When only criminals carry guns the police know exactly who to shoot!

There isnt a single person on this forum that isnt capable of cracking up in a somewhat violent manner, just takes enough stimulus to put them over their threshold.

There is at least one person here who its just a matter of time before they make the news headlines

I'm no more likely to go shoot an innocent person than I am to deliberately run someone down with my car.

Just because you think that you could snap and start killing innocents does not mean you can extrapolate that to everyone else. And I assume you do, since you are a person and you are on this forum and you made absolutely no exclusions.

And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time! ..But He loves you.' - George Carlin

I agree. Such reactions are very often fear-based, which means that those who live in fear are the most likely to snap and react violently.

Now let's see...who's the most fearful, paranoid person in this forum?

Clue: It's someone who would rather live next to a child molester than a gun owner.

http://gma.yahoo.com/joker-massacre-foi ... ories.html
One week after Colorado's movie theater shooting, Maryland cops arrested a heavily armed man who told his employer he was a "joker" who was going to "blow everybody up."

Police said today they believe they "thwarted a massacre."

The suspect, identified as Neil Edwin Prescott in a court document obtained by ABC News, was being dismissed from his job. He made threatening statements to his supervisor at least twice on Monday, police said.

Prescott had an arsenal of about 25 firearms at his residence, including semi-automatic rifles, shotguns and handguns, according to a police affidavit. Police said he also had high powered scopes and magazines and thousands of rounds of ammunition in "40 large steel boxes."

He was quoted as telling his employer, "I am a joker, I'm going to load my guns and blow everybody up," police said.

"It is clear that the comments made by Prescott reference a recent mass murder which occurred in Colorado within the last several days in which the alleged shooter called himself the Joker, died [sic] his hair red and shot up a movie theater containing men, women and children and showing the 'The Dark Night Rises,'" according to the court document.

"Prescott also stated that he would like to see the supervisor's brain splatter all over the sidewalk," the document said.

Prescott allegedly acknowledged to his employer that he should not be making these statements over the phone, saying, "It's kind of foolish of me to say this kind of things [sic] over government phone."

"In light of what happened a week ago in Aurora, Colorado, it's important to know that we take all threats seriously and if you're going to make a threat, we will take action," Prince George's County Chief Mark Magaw said at a news conference today.

When police arrived at Prescott's house on Thursday to speak to him, he was wearing a t-shirt with the writing, "Guns don't kill people, I do."

He was taken into custody based on an emergency petition for medical treatment, police said. Authorities said Prescott's demeanor was "very quiet" when he was taken into custody and that he was cooperative.

Not being a child the biggest problem with living next to a child molestor is that it might attract gun nuts and people with petrol bombs.

Being fearful and paranoid is generally pretty harmless unless someone starts making guns avaliable

Living next to a child molester wouldn't bother me much, here in Britain.
If the law doesn't lock them up for ever, then they have to live somewhere.
It's not likely that they would take me for a child.

But if this country was awash with guns, then I wouldn't want to live next to either gun-owners or child molesters.
There are plenty of morons in this country, but they don't have guns.
Give them guns, and they are just as dangerous as american morons.

I remember the crowd of people yelling outside a pediatricians practice in Southampton, after there was a well-publicised pedophile scandal. It's those kind of people who want to own guns.

That's the mentality of gun owners. It's always the dumber and dumbest.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

It would bother me having a child molestor next door not due to them directly but due to getting morons hanging around and attacking them (and making my life hell). Demo's and the police coming aroudn disturbng my sleep.

If its someone who owns a gun then the police will either just shoot them dead or taken them away for a mandatory 5 years, end of problem
