If we disqualified all candidates who followed a religion based on fraud and lies, we'd have no politicians left.

Perhaps it's time to put this thread out to pasture, and resurrect the general 2012 Election thread. 
Unless anyone still wants to debate that the GOP nominee might be anybody other than Mitt.

Watching Newsnight tonight it seems that the loonies are pushing the abortion and related religio/social issues so far that they are risking alienating the middle so much, as they push their reps that they don't stand a chance.
