Best,

I really wish this guy got more coverage in the media. I don't get it. The guy has got some chops -- he's been serving since the 80s in some good positions with every administration, Republican and Democrat. He was a wildly successful and popular governor of Utah. I think he won reelection there with 71% of the vote.
I wish he'd get more coverage too. He's clearly the most moderate of the GOP candidates, somebody who might actually challenge Obama for all the centrist voters in the general election. He's also very intelligent, very experienced, and, dare I say, clearly saner than the rest of his rivals, save perhaps Romney. But he's still got low name recognition, and more importantly he's (gasp!) worked for the Obama administration. His being a moderate is what will prevent him from getting the nomination. GOP primary voters, now more than ever, are demanding conservative credentials. They may still like electability more, which is why many will accept Romney, but there isn't room for more than one of those types in the GOP field.

If you could see your way to not electing anyone thinks the Lord is telling them to press that big red button and bring on the End of Days, that's a start....

Safe to write him off, then.

If you are looking for a head of state, HM The Q is usually regarded as a safe pair of hands. Obviously, one or two constitutional issues but nothing we cant sort out...

Problem is, truly sane and intelligent people with good character are wise enough not to run for office. :sadcheer:

If HRH Prince William gets impatient waiting for the throne, we could install him as our monarch. :{D

Would we have to have her face on the money?

Hmmm...I don't know if thats a deal breaker.

You could have Kate Middleton's bottom on your "money".

(Reuters) - President Barack Obama faces deep skepticism from swing voters who see the Republican party as more in tune with their concerns about government spending, according to a poll released on Tuesday.

Huntsman is probably going to have to drop out soon. He's only polling 1-2% and he is going to start getting dropped from the debates soon.
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

Yes, and his performance in last night's debate didn't thrill anyone. He has the background, experience, and is smart. It's too bad.
