Though there was a sprinkling of legalese in Trump's six page rant at Pelosi, a report from The New York Times says that the White House counsel Cipollone had no involvement in composing it. Instead, it was various flunkies, including that shining light of reason, Stephen Miller. The person who is closest to being a lawyer of those mentioned is Michael Williams, who was a law clerk for National Rifle Association lobbyists.

'Stephen Miller Helped Draft Trump’s Unhinged Letter, Reports Say'
White House lawyers were largely cut out of the drafting of President Trump’s bonkers letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Tuesday, according to reports. The New York Times says Trump received help over the past few days from his top policy adviser Stephen Miller, and the process was led by the director of the Office of Legislative Affairs Eric Ueland. Michael Williams, an adviser to Acting Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney, is also reported to have been involved. However, according to the Times, Pat Cipollone, the White House counsel who will play a big role in the imminent Senate trial, was not involved in the drafting of the letter.

Why is he worried about Pelosi? On the other hand the Senate is all set:

Yeah but no:
https://www.cnn.com/2019/12/18/politics ... index.html
the opions about impeachment vary, but there are virtually NO undecided voters as far as
Trump vs Any Democrat 2020
The only issue we are dealing with anymore is voter turnout and "voter removal" by judges.

‘Nobody is above the law’: Americans take to streets in support of Trump impeachment
Protests ranged from tiny to thousands strong on eve of the impeachment vote in effort to hold Trump accountable

Hours before Congress began to convene for Wednesday’s vote to make Donald Trump only the third US president in history to be impeached, thousands of Americans from across the country gathered to make their views plain under the banner: “Nobody is above the law”.

From snowy Portland in Maine to an even chillier Anchorage in Alaska, 4,500 miles away, protesters turned out on the eve of the impeachment vote to lend their voices to the effort to hold Trump accountable for the abuse of power and obstruction of Congress of which he is accused. Organisers of the nationwide demonstrations, drawn from a coalition of groups including Indivisible, MoveOn and Greenpeace, recorded 617 events nationwide.

The protests ranged from tiny to thousands strong. In Concord, Massachusetts, a small crowd gathered at the historically poignant spot of the Battle of Lexington and Concord that sparked the revolutionary war.

They waved placards that quoted one of the founding fathers, John Adams, who said: “Facts Are Stubborn Things”. That paean to truth was poignant too. At the very moment the Concord protesters were braving the sleet, Trump was delivering a six-page letter full of insults and ranting to Nancy Pelosi, the Democratic speaker of the House, denouncing the impeachment process.
"Wat is het een gezellig boel hier".

Those nasty women, conspiring with the Russians. Of course an absent member would note that the source goes unnamed, and it's CNN therefore FAKE NEWS, ENEMIES OF THE PEOPLE.

'White House Source Says Clinton "Purposely" Lost Election So Democrats Could Impeach Trump: CNN Analyst'
A prominent, high-profile, credentialed White House reporter says a source in the White House tells him they believe Hillary Clinton “purposely” lost the 2016 election with the help of Russia so House Democrats could later impeach President Donald Trump.

Brian Karem, who is a CNN political analyst and the well-known Senior White House [correspondent] for Playboy, as well as the author of six books, posted this quote from the unnamed source to Twitter:
Not from the Onion but from a WH source - "Hillary Clinton purposely lost the election with the aid of Russian hacking so the Democrats could then impeach Trump"

-- Brian Karem 3:58 PM - Dec 18, 2019
And while it sound outlandish even for this White House remember that President Donald Trump himself just days ago accused the Democrats of trying to impeach him since 2015.

“So the impeachment is a hoax. It’s a sham,” Trump said on Friday to reporters. “It started a long time ago, probably before I came down the escalator with the future First Lady. It started a long time ago.”

Claiming Democrats have been wanting to impeach him even before he announced he was running for president is the official White House line now, so that makes existence of the quote – while outlandish – sound less, shall we say, impeachable.

That was more interesting than the 50 Republicans talking 1 min 30 sec on the "impeachment hoax."

LOL, the brief to the articles of impeachment was written by Jews and the senators compare themselves to the Sanhedrin court, classy.

and Jesus was never accused of treason, he was accused of sedition and rejection of the Roman authority... well, we know he didn't preach against giving Rome the taxes it demanded, but did he accept that stumbling stone and shibboleth of Roman domination: attendance to the Imperial cult?
