For your info, Putin is not perceived by his people as a fascist dictator, he has their back, his popularity is growing, anyone that does his best to keep NATO away from the Russian borders has the back of the Russian people, he was elected, they would elect him any time.

OK, I have mixed feelings on some aspects, but even countries like Hungary that have been traditionally antiRussian are very much pro now that they see he is not jumping to every beat of the EU like they feel they must. And look how far he has come polarizing the US politics. I wonder if he was up for election alongside Hillary and Donald, how many votes he would get.
