No.
Too far and too much, glee is wrong. Smug satisfaction? Self-righteous.
To have an appreciation of the irony, and a little glad that they got what they deserved fine, but to feel satisfied by it?
Just Exquisite...

Actually, given the revelations, I admire Dev's restraint.
Oh, I'm sure that earnings of £500,000 per year (and the ski-ing holidays such an income pays for) compensate more than adequately for any invective Dev may choose to unleash. It's not as if he actually wields much influence on the political scene there, as far as I'm aware. Though it might be fun if he did. Imagine Dev's straight talking in front of the cameras, instead of the usual blather and horseshit we see from politicians? That would be fucking priceless.
Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if someone suggested that people start clamouring in record stores for that Simon & Garfunkel record to make it No 1 in the charts to commemorate this affair.

It's just over a year since this, the mother of all political scandals, broke.
Iris spent most of the year in mental hospitals (when she wasn't photographed dolled up and shopping in exclusive London shops).
No charges were ever pressed, either in this case or the subsequent case involving the dodgy sale of land attached to the Robinsons' home in Belfast. The extent or particulars of Iris' "mental illness" were never revealed - the cloak of "mental illness" ensured that all questions of impropriety were swept away.
So instead of being in her rightful place in prison at Her Majesty's Pleasure, last night Iris dined with Her Majesty and the Prime Ministers of Britain and Ireland.
How the other half live, eh?
