I think you're misunderstanding. I'm not saying you choose arbitrarily to have a emotional state, just that what triggers it is based on arbitrary events. I did something similar to what the boxer did in the op, except it was some idiot that contacted me through Kijiji and I didn't post it to my followers. I found out where he lived (a condo built in one of the 19th century factories that are so popular in Kitchener Ontario), his home phone number, even the number of his condo in the building. I just drove to his building, called him from outside (it had secured entrances), and told him I was waiting for him in the parking lot if he wanted to settle things.
Never heard from him again.
