WTF is school? OK, I don't like schools. All those fucking absurd rules! I did visit my son's school today to discuss his absence due to illness (he suffers upper respiratory track infections regularly) and I must say, I found the teachers to be accommodating and understanding the difficulties of his condition. But I can clearly recall my days in school; I lived in fear. And yes there were some teachers that I would have liked to "disappear".

I suspect that if the maths teacher overheard her saying that, in the playground to a few of her friends, he or she would probably have grinned and ignored it. Or given her a few sharp words.

I'm not sure if you are taking the piss or not... but is the truth of it. Everyone is allowed to privately think and believe whatever they want. But as soon as they start making their kooky thoughts public, they need to realise there can be consequences for this. This is such a case. Students need to respect their teachers to some minimal degree, or the whole education process breaks down.

Heck, the school authorities refused to comment because of student confidentiality so even they don't think it's public.
