Why does Laura Loomer matter? The Trump account posted what it posted, and I said where I got it.
More to the point, is Engoron, his wife and family a bunch of TDS lunatics, posting anti-Trump stuff regularly? Or are they, like BLM, Trump supporters?

Why are you so excited to point out Laura Loomer? Do you like her or something?
Re: All Things Trump: the story continues...
That's quite interesting. Even on the right, Laura Loomer has a reputation for making stuff up.rasetsu wrote: ↑Fri Dec 01, 2023 3:06 pmAccording to Newsweek, Laura Loomer was the original source. Per Jonah Goldberg:
Basically, any allegation made by Laura Loomer that is remotely shocking, interesting, or even noteworthy needs to be assumed to be a complete fabrication until proven otherwise. The people who take her at face value should be presumed to be morons or liars.

I suspect that Trump will appeal this to the Supreme Court. Since the judge in the Colorado 14th Amendment case concluded that he incited the violence, he could get sued a lot.

Trump may be sued over Jan. 6 incitement claims, appeals court panel rules
Donald Trump can be sued over claims that he incited violence on Jan. 6, 2021, an appeals court ruled Friday, rejecting the former president’s argument that he is entirely immune from being held liable for incendiary remarks that preceded the attack on the Capitol.
The three-judge panel concluded that Trump’s actions as a candidate for president would not automatically be protected by “presidential immunity,” turning aside Trump’s sweeping argument that nearly all speech and conduct by an incumbent president should be shielded from lawsuits, including several brought by members of Congress and injured police officers.
“When a first-term President opts to seek a second term, his campaign to win re-election is not an official presidential act,” wrote Chief Judge Sri Srinivasan of the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals. “The Office of the Presidency as an institution is agnostic about who will occupy it next. And campaigning to gain that office is not an official act of the office.”
However, the appeals court left the door open for continued efforts by Trump to try to prove that he was acting as president, rather than as a candidate for reelection, when he addressed the angry crowd at the Ellipse.
The ruling, which Trump could challenge at the Supreme Court, is likely to reverberate in the federal criminal case where Trump is charged with seeking to subvert the 2020 election. Trump has also contended that he is immune from prosecution in that case by arguing his efforts were connected to his official duties.

There can't be a mistrial. That would leave Trump free to run, and allow voters to choose him as their president.
It would be a disaster for the DNC, and whoever they will want in the presidency.

I'm very tempted to report this post. Unfortunately, the only authority I can think of is Tero, and there would likely be some kind of conflict of interest...

A Freudian slip. Could happen to anyone.
'Trump (Accidentally) Has a Rare Moment of Truth at Iowa Rally'
'Trump (Accidentally) Has a Rare Moment of Truth at Iowa Rally'
McCain voted against repealing 'Obamacare.' Trump of course has to take credit despite his concurrent claim that he'll repeal it. It's a bizarro world under that ridiculous whispy cross-thatched mass of hairspray.Former President Donald Trump accidentally admitted what his critics have long accused him of at an Iowa rally on Saturday night, telling the crowd: “We’ve been waging an all-out war on American democracy.”
But just as quickly as he made the shocking remark, he corrected himself to say his “opponents” are the ones guilty of attacks on democracy.
Trump, throughout the rally, argued that he was on a “righteous crusade” in support of democracy while his team handed out “BIDEN ATTACKS DEMOCRACY” signs to rally-goers.
Trump, of course, faces dozens of charges for his efforts to overturn the 2020 election results and seize another term despite having lost the election, and on the eve of the rally, a federal judge ruled that he cannot rely on presidential immunity to shield him from prosecution.
He appeared as unhinged as ever during his speech in Cedar Rapids: Mocking the late Senator and veteran John McCain, vowing for the eighth year in a row to repeal Obamacare, and warning that the left is coming to take away voters’ dishwashers.
“I saved Obamacare when we got John McCain’s negative vote, you know he voted against it. He said ‘uhhhhhh thumbs downnn.’ That was an amazing night,” Trump continued, making a crude impression of McCain, who was battling brain cancer at the time.

America first. Fuck Ukraine. Fuck Poland.
https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/ar ... ip/676120/Institutionally, and maybe even politically, leaving NATO could be difficult for Trump. As soon as he announced his intentions, a constitutional crisis would ensue. Senate approval is required for U.S. treaties—but the Constitution says nothing about congressional approval for withdrawal from treaties. Recognizing this gap in the law, Democratic Senator Tim Kaine and Republican Senator Marco Rubio introduced legislation, which has already passed the Senate, designed to block any U.S. president from withdrawing from NATO without two-thirds Senate approval or an act of Congress. Kaine told me he feels “confident that the courts would uphold us on that and would not allow a president to unilaterally withdraw,” but there would...
