Charles Millon? Do they actually mean Fillon? infowars can't even type it's pseudo info correctly... and Fillon is not a racist fuckwit to the best of my knowledge, he's an archconservative, but has not aligned with the Le Pen clan or other weirdos.

yeah, I'd totally forgotten the existence of that fucktard... and I mixed up with François Fillon, which is not nice to the latter, even though I don't like him.

At least not on purpose.
I thought if their...um...unterpretation of events might read a bit clearer when it contained more contributions.

Colonialism dies hard especially with Anglo-Saxon mind set.

You don’t say ‘the army’ with the intensity,” she continued. “... But you say these names [Al Qaeda] because you want that word to carry weight. You want it to be something.” - Ilhan Omar

So is this protest still about the fuel tax?
Or is it about something else now? (I understood that Macron withdrew his fuel tax already)

I've seen it presented a few ways. One of the most convincing to me is that it is a resistance to EU enforced immigration and how much it has changed France. There are a few countries who clearly think they should be in charge of their immigration policies (as opposed to allowing the UN to do so)
Myself, I think open borders is a shit idea, even between friendly countries. Canada/US is a good example. If we had open borders, US pot smokers would rush in and take all our weed. Best to slow that flow, so at least we can take care of our own smokers.

There's no EU enforced immigration, the power from Brussels is grossly overstated by morons and nutcases... the excessive immigration dates back to the 60s and 70s...

So as I understand it, the 'power' from Brussels was mainly enacting a 'migration compact' which has (to read the news) 'no teeth'.
Same nonsense was presented about the gender-bending laws being included in the human rights laws.
There are plenty of teeth, since the compact makes migration a Human Right, and the human rights tribunals have PLENTY of teeth (at least in Canada)
If you run a business, non-profit or publish anything, you will be bound to stick to the rules, or risk having your business ruined in a human rights battle. (by the way, complaintants get a free ride at the HRC, while defendants can fund their own defense)
Anyway, it looked, from out here, like the protests were about the loss of living standard (money) rather than specifically the fuel tax. Calling the power of Brussels 'grossly overstated' might be your way of not noticing the teeth of the Human Rights Commission. Is there an equivalent organization in France?
Is it even legal there to be critical of migration? My understanding was that there are new laws (connected to that compact) which forbid public criticism by media (maybe extends to individuals too)

Re: WTF is going in in France Svarty?
there's no migration compact, it has been vetoes up by Poland, Hungary, and countries from their group.
and the latest UN 'pact' has no teeth either, if it had, it would never have been accepted in the first place.

Canada signed. I believe France did, too.
What is the 17th objective, and what do you think of it?

I asked specifically about the goal listed as (17).
Do you know what it is? Do you agree with it?
Did you even browse the compact you are speaking about? (to be honest, I hadn't until today)
