Notice that the harder they try to make God believable, the lamer it gets?

I humbly suggest this thread be moved to the Twilight Zone.

Oh, and what you call "the poverty of imagination argument" already has a name. In Latin, it is argumentum ad ignorantiam, or in English, an argument from ignorance. Please to be not renaming fallacies which already have perfectly good names. Bitte.

Indeed, bullshit. So quit citing bullshit. God does not have to be supernatural in order to exist. God need only be undetectable and untestable by our paltry, primitive human intellects and science. Therefore, you cannot deny the existence of God based on a false claim that God is supernatural, not even such a claim made by a theist, because that's just another iteration of the Atheist's Fallacy.
Not supernatural, yet undetectable... Then it's just a silly waste of time to say anything about it.

Just because YOU can't detect it doesn't make it a "silly waste of time to say anything about it." With that sort of attitude, the Large Hadron Collider and the search for the presently-undetectable Higgs Boson would not exist, now would it?

I prefer "poverty of imagination" because it's distinguishable from simple ignorance. Poverty of imagination is a mental deficit that keeps the person from becoming educated or expanding their mental and intellectual horizons. Ignorance, on the other hand, is a minor glitch that can be easily resolved through education. Poverty of imagination is not as bad as stupidity because stupid people tend to be stupid about pretty much everything due to a mental defect, whereas poverty of imagination is less debilitating and more easily cured than stupidity.

Sometimes.

Some other times, not so much.

Seth does. That last post was a childish incoherent rant, I'm not bothering with it.

You certainly are. You shit all over them so we have to throw them away.

I haven't heard even a partially intelligent statement from you in months. I doubt you're even capable of rational thought, much less reasoned debate.

Undetectable in practice, or in principle?
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."
