it's just the end-time didn't arrive with the poor, the weak and the woke overthrowing the rich, the powerful and the pilled.

The gender thing, from the RIGHT
The litter box meme came from simpler times, before the Republican Big Lie Machine got into full swing, when I’m pretty sure it was basically a joke invented by right-wing bigots to try to undermine the whole idea of non-conforming gender identity. Today, the policies of the right, driven by Trump with unrelenting fury, are based on a constant barrage of lies that are meant to be believed and understood literally. None of Trump’s cult think that “transgender mice” is a joke – they think it’s an example of “liberalism” run amok.
(How an urban myth about litter boxes in schools became a GOP talking point
At least 20 Republican politicians have claimed that schools are making accommodations for students who identify as cats. The school districts say these claims are untrue.)

SCIENCE
https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2025 ... an-science
The disruptions are already cascading through academia. Medical schools have paused hiring; labs are considering when they’ll have to let employees go; universities are curtailing Ph.D. programs, in some cases rescinding offers to accepted students. Meanwhile, biotech investors are warning of a contraction in medical innovation. “Drug development requires government support of basic science,” a partner at an investment firm said last month. “Nobody else can step in to fill that void.” There is nothing wrong with reform—it is, in fact, the hallmark of a healthy system. The N.I.H. could stand to restructure its institutes to minimize duplicative work, to fund projects with greater transformative potential, to demand more transparency in how institutions calculate their administrative overhead. But what Trump is doing is not reform, it is subversion. And it could not come at a worse time.
Trump is a dedicated practitioner of ‘Christian Positive Thinking’ as taught him by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale. Reality can be made to conform to his strongly held beliefs. The world is as he believes it to be. We are in the ‘Golden Age of Trump’. We are the beneficiaries of his omniscience.

"Christian Positive Thinking’ encourages ignorance. One can replace the pesky tedium of scientific investigation with common sense. Trump was lumping, not distinguishing, terms. He does not know, or see any reason to care, about a difference. So, it’s ignorance. However the smallness of his world also makes him malicious.

I am overwhelmed observing our modern technological society, choose as its’ leader, a religiously deranged man with the mental scope of a six year old.

Everybody has a theory!
If courts — specifically the Republican-appointed majority of the Supreme Court — uphold arguments based on the so-called “unitary executive theory,” it would give Trump and subsequent presidents unprecedented power to remove and replace any federal employee and impose their will on every decision in every agency.

Rulings in favor of the Trump administration would also further jeopardize the independence of key regulatory agencies that are susceptible to conflicts of interest and political interference, like the Federal Election Commission, which oversees federal elections and campaign finance laws.

Not just fraud, but 'ActBlue' seems to use strange tactics to resist investigation by journalists.

QUICK! Someone impinge O'Keefe's character! He shouldn't be allowed to question Democrat fundraising personnel about fraudulent donations!!
Actblue in the news again?

Oops, not that one...

HERE is the current circus event:

Act Blue officials had a secret conference and I ambushed everyone outside the hotel.

They weren’t too happy about that.

I knew about the conference because a secret mole within Act Blue tipped me off.
Sure be awkward if something turned out to be financially irregular, just like O'Keefe has been saying for years...

James O'Keefe has been right so often, it is starting to get suspicious.

When he found that actblue donations irregularities, many people ignored it. Certainly didn't want to dig in and understand what was going on.

How long will toxic masculinity rule this time around? I had one professor in my chemistry department in 1975 that would not take women into his group. Women would spend too much time away from the lab. Men could just piss in the lab sink.
"President Donald Trump and his administration are escalating their attacks on higher education, intensifying a years long effort to hobble the campuses they say breed progressive ideology by casting them not as spaces of innovation, but as hotbeds of hate."

"Republicans have long blamed college campuses for being ground-zero for a number of “woke” culture war issues to which they’re now taking an axe, including diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and academic frameworks like critical race theory. The protests that roiled college campuses last spring in the midst of the Israel-Hamas war gave Republicans fuel to go after the schools over concerns about antisemitism, and since taking office, Trump has swiftly taken actions designed to punish higher education."

"It started in the months after Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023 attack on Israel, when the Republican-led House education panel summoned the presidents of Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for a hearing over allegations of antisemitism related to pro-Palestinian anti-war protests on their campuses. In a now-infamous exchange, U.N. Ambassador Elise Stefanik, then a New York congresswoman, asked the presidents of Harvard and Penn if “calling for the genocide of Jews” would violate their schools’ rules. They said it depends on the “context.”

“It does not depend on the context. The answer is yes, and that is why you should resign,” Stefanik retorted.

"Both presidents stepped down in the following month."

One fourth of Greenlanders want to join USA? Sounds like reason enough for invasion.

That does raise an interesting question...with Trump wanting to buy Greenland, who does he make his offer to?

If it is a 'democracy' is it a different answer than if it is a monarchy?

Trump wants Canada / Greenland for the Northwest passage he plans on keeping open with ice breakers.

I think it was the PM of Finland talking about Trump before 51st state and RedWhiteBlue Land became a thing.....

President Trump likes to win, but he is not opposed if you also win. We buy US millitary equipment and keep up on our NATO defence obligation. And President Trump is very interested in our ice breakers.

Trump ICE show of strength: Europeans and one Canadian citizen dumped into Arizona prison.
‘It is like jail’: German man visiting American fiancé detained by ICE for over 2 weeks
SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A German man says he’s grateful to be back home in Europe after being arrested by ICE and forced to spend over two weeks at an immigration detention center near the San Diego border.

Lucas Sielaff, 25, said U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers put him and his American fiancée in handcuffs after they tried to enter the San Diego-Mexico border from Tijuana last month.

A German man says he’s grateful to be back home in Europe after being arrested by ICE and forced to spend over two weeks at an immigration detention center near the San Diego border.

"They accused me [of living] in America instead of visiting, but there was no proof that I overstayed anything,” Sielaff said in an interview with Team 10 Thursday from Germany.

Sielaff has been in a long-distance relationship with Las Vegas psychologist Dr. Lennon Tyler since 2022, when the two met overseas in Prague

I guess I think it's an interesting question, because most lovers of 'muh democracy' will know in their hearts, that not a fucking DIME would go to them. He won't offer citizens cash, the King won't hold a vote-off.

OMG, I just saw Trump on TV saying he was ordering 48 ice breakers.

Though the US could technically buy Canada from King Charles, I'm sure Canadians will soon see the wisdom in joining the US and there would eventually be a referendum. Quebec back in the 90's came within 1% of voting for independence, and if they went separate the rest of Canada would have become states back then.

Greenland, there's only about 50,000 people living there, and times a million is only $50 billion.
Cut Denmark in for a % of mineral and oil license revenue and they'd come out ahead.

Real money is in getting the NW passage running and controlling trade between Asia and Europe.
