What if Donald Trump decided to send and receive his email from a private server which operates outside of the government records office so that freedom of information act requests are frustrated because the documents are not available on government servers. This is discovered, and Trump is sent a demand that all public records be turned over to the government for incorporation into the public record. Trump decides that he and his attorneys will review the emails on his server, and he will decide which ones are turned over to the government (including in response to a subpoena). Once he's made that decision, he deletes 30,000 emails, and there is no way to recover them. It's also discovered that his people have destroyed laptops and cell phones physically, and there was an IT guy scrubbing and wiping clean servers to prevent the information from being discovered.

But, he says to trust him, because he and his lawyers did a diligent review and anything that would be considered a public record has been turned over.

"but his emails??"

Citing federal officials and government documents, The Hill details the Russians' nuclear-industry corruption here in the U.S., citing extensive evidence that "Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering designed to grow Vladimir Putin's atomic energy business" in the U.S.
But that's just the beginning. Based on both an eyewitness account and documents, The Hill report goes on to say that federal agents found evidence "indicating Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton's charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow."

The cool half-million bucks the Putin regime funneled to Bill Clinton was five times the amount it spent on those Facebook ads — the ones the media-Democrat complex ludicrously suggests swung the 2016 presidential election to Donald Trump. The Facebook-ad buy, which started in June 2015 — before Donald Trump entered the race — was more left-wing agitprop (ads pushing hysteria on racism, immigration, guns, etc.) than electioneering. The Clintons’ own long-time political strategist Mark Penn estimates that just $6,500 went to actual electioneering. (You read that right: 65 hundred dollars.)

Ah yes, unnamed officials. We all know that unnamed officials is just code for "I made this all up myself". Isn't that what you were trying to tell us when the investigation was into your side of politics?

It's not just unnamed officials. There are tapes, emails and financial records showing that Moscow had compromised an American uranium trucking firm with bribes and kickbacks. They also obtained an eyewitness account — backed by documents — indicating Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton’s charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow, sources told The Hill. http://thehill.com/policy/national-secu ... nistration

A bit more than an unnamed official...

Is this enough to warrant a congressional investigation and special prosecutor? I'm not sure. Let me know what you think.

"designed to benefit" --what kind of wishy-washy bullshit language is that? It's kind of important for this part of your statement to be strong, and clear. So translate the bullshit for us. If they just gave the guy millions then you'd have said that. So, what really happened?

She dindunuffin! Totally innocent! Hillary Clinton, a dedicated, honest, forthright, kind and compassionate servant of American democracy, with only the best interests of the common person (in accordance with the progressive stack, of course).
Tero wrote: Repeal Obamacare
Nah! It works just fine! It was worth every penny! It's great that we took a system that had 12% uninsured and reduced it to 8% uninsured, as the cost of like a trillion dollars, and increased the amount people pay for insurance by 3 or 4 times. I mean, in 2010, they said insurance was unaffordable, so we enacted the "Affordable" Healthcare Act, which made things more "Affordable" by making things more expensive, and leaving 25 to 30 million people still without insurance. Don't repeal such a splendid example of smart legislation.
Tero wrote: lower taxes
What? No! Raise them. Taxes are good. More taxes are better. Taxes are always too low, and other people are always failing to pay their fair share. Not me, of course. Those other people. The bad people. The people that make more than me. They need to pay more.
Tero wrote: raise debt
No! Reduce it by raising it 6.5 trillion dollars.
Tero wrote: ask Russia for help
No! Just sell them 20% of our uranium. That'll learn 'em. They're enemies! Well, at least they became enemies sometime between October, 2012, and June, 2016. They're enemies when anyone affiliated with Trump speaks to a person of Russian descent. When we sell them uranium, they're fine.

One of the dirtiest tricks in American political history -- https://www.wsj.com/articles/lifting-th ... 1510274070
No one seems to have noticed that the Democrats are now making unctuous noises about the inviolability of a process that has disintegrated into utter nonsense. According to the bipartisan leadership of the Senate Intelligence Committee, the Steele dossier is the only possible evidence of Trump-Russian collusion, and we now know that it was composed of unsubstantiated allegations by unaccountable sources in and around the Kremlin, paid through intermediaries engaged by a retired British spy and paid for by the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee through the sleazy political dirty-tricks provider Fusion GPS. We also know that the special counsel, Robert Mueller, and the deputy attorney general who engaged him, Rod Rosenstein, were, as FBI director and U.S. attorney for Maryland, the prosecutors of the Russian representatives who offered improper incentives to secure Russian acquisitions of substantial American uranium interests, but did not bother the Clintons or Clinton Foundation, which contemporaneously were generously paid by those who favored that transaction, at a time when Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s approval was required under national-security legislation. We also now know it is likely that the Steele dossier was used as the excuse for surveillance of the Trump campaign and transition activities in the Trump Tower in New York by the Obama administration, which had appointed Mr. Mueller and Mr. Rosenstein to their former FBI and Justice Department positions. And [snip] we now know that his protégé and successor at the FBI, James Comey, caused the appointment of his friend Mueller by Rosenstein (who had recommended that Comey be fired), by leaking to the New York Times a memo to himself (Comey) of contested accuracy and ownership [snip] And finally, in this Alice in Wonderland sequence, Comey confirmed to the Senate Intelligence Committee that he had assured President Trump three times, starting on January 27, ten weeks after the FBI took over the Steele dossier from the failed Clinton campaign, that Mr. Trump was not a suspect of any wrongdoing. The burning question is why this unutterable nonsense continues, and the Trumpophobic media respectabilize the (Hillary) Clinton view that paying for the Steele dossier was just a normal attempt to get “campaign information.” [snip] If this all sounds like the Hound of the Baskervilles chasing its tail, that is because it is that and more: The hound has caught its own tail and devoured itself from behind to the point that it has become a deformed biped.
