Have you read it? What problems do you see with its methodology and sources?

Six-term Washington state Rep. Matt Shea is accused of participating "in an act of domestic terrorism against the United States," according to a report released Thursday.

Independent investigators commissioned by the Washington State House Representatives found that Shea, as a leader of the Patriot Movement, "planned, engaged in, and promoted a total of three armed conflicts of political violence against the United States government" between 2014 and 2016.

The report also concluded, Shea was involved in training young people to fight a "holy war." He created a pamphlet called Biblical Basis for War and advocated replacing the government with a theocracy and "the killing of all males who do not agree."

I have read it Joe. When the UK is described as a full democracy even when its first house is not elected and a win of 45% is enough for a landslide sorry bells start ringing. Their methodology is rubbish and what sources? It is an extreme right wing think tank that supports every form of capitalism and exploitation. It wraps it up in such a pseudo scientific way so as to appear as a scientific journal. As I said just quote Breibart it is just as good.

Thanks Scot, I'll give their methodology a hard look when I read it. I also have a difficult time seeing the UK as a full democracy, but I'll see what definition they use.

You and I probably have a different perspective about how far right The Economist is, based on where we live. In Colorado Springs, Seth's views aren't considered extreme, merely conservative Republican with a libertarian bent. From that standpoint, the Economist seems pretty centrist.

I entirely agree Joe. For Europe it is on the very extreme right. We dont have any journals that far right. It is really weird for the UK to be considered a full democracy by any definition. In every facet it fails; registration, voting rights to the equality of votes. It is equivalent to your voting of the Electoral College. If you live in a so called "safe seat" and you want to vote against the party that occupies you seat your vote is useless. These are seats won by candidates that only won with 30% of the vote. The UK is seldom ruled by a government that has more than 50% of the vote.
Only PR can be a democracy. We are one of the few countries that use it and where is our position on the EIU table? Below the UK! :funny: :funny: :funny:
Some people are unable to see that very simple fact. The UK is as undemocratic as any banana republic.

Well, since I've no experience with the governments of either, except for drinking in a pub in Colchester during the 2017 UK election, I'll not weigh in on which is more democratic.

You do have a more attractive Queen though. :naughty:

Another Republican myth shot down: if you cut down corporate tax, because the economy will go booming and will increase sales and production.

No.
