Where is that quoted from?
The Brian Peacock's Book of Useless Idioms.
Never heard of it but I generally ignore Americanisms.

Eventually we'll have to open up and let the chips fall. Might as well do it now while fuel is cheap for the mass grave excavators and crematoriums.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

I would if I could. If you can't take a joke then fuck off, nineberry.

Re: The post corona virus thread.
The second wave isn't going to come because restrictions are lifted. It's going to come because that is how viruses travel.
The restrictions were presented because our emergency services would have been overwhelmed, which would cause more (triage) deaths.
There will be no 'post corona', my only hope is that the shit coverage by media shows people some of the media's more awful motivations.
Like wishing for suffering and deaths of humans, so their political target suffers in the polls.

You don't sound bitter to me. I'm going to go smoke one, celebrating 4:20 on 4/20. I'll think of you, laklak, enjoying working on your boat while I'm taking it easy and coughing in your general direction.

Re: The post corona virus thread.
So slowly countries are reducing restrictions. I wonder if the virus has got its passport up to date. There will different regimes in various countries. People will travel from one country to the other to use the services available. Borders are like a sieve. The old smuggling routes will be opened again. You would have thought a more international approach to the reducing of restrictions.
