Yeah it probably is. It just shits me that we only ever hear about female genital mutilation, as if male mutilation is fine and dandy.

It's males' privileged status in western society. It's discrimination and oppression by the patriarchy that female circumcision is regarded as improper. It's the notion of females as the property of males, and that men are "entitled" to intact women. It may seem as if men are chop liver in this instance, just like how men's health issues get less funding and the high male suicide and employment-death/injury rates, but those things are all part of patriarchal oppression against women.

What's to "get?" People joke about everything bad. Disease, murder, kidnapping, mayhem, fraud, lying, cheating, stealing, raping, pillaging, war, you name it. Why would jokes about circumcision be off the table?
